The Great Pyramid of Giza:

The Great Pyramid of Khufu, which was during the reign of the 4th dynasty, stands as the biggest and most iconic pyramid in history.

Aswan High Dam, which was constructed on the Nile River, stands as a monumental epic of engineering finished in 1970. This marvelous dam stretches over 3800 meters in length and 111 meters in height.

The Unfinished Obelisk:

The Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan is an example for ancient Egyptian stone-cutting techniques. This astonishing obelisk was carved from granite quarries during the reign of Hatshepsut as the queen intended to build one of the largest obelisks in the world standing over 42meters tall.

Unluckily, cracks appeared in the granite while the quarrying process ended with its failure. The Obelisk is still attached to the bedrock which provides the visitors a wonderful glimpse into the brilliant ancient Egyptian architecture.

Colossi of Memnon:

Colossi of Memnon are two huge statues standing on the western bank of the Nile near Luxor. These statues, which date back to around 1350 BC show Pharaoh Amenhotep III seating on his throne.

Each statue of them towering over 18 meters tall and they are originally guarding the entrance to Amenhotep III's Mortuary Temple. Despite damage over the ages, these massive statues are still iconic symbols of ancient Egyptian art and architecture, attracting visitors to marvel at their greatness and historical importance throughout the time.

 

Habu Temple:
