This magical temple was constructed during the 15th century BC to rejuvenate the queen's divine pedigree and to commemorate her achievements. This is a must-visit landmark for its impressive structure and amazing reliefs and statues.
Valley of the Kings:
The Valley of the Kings near Luxor on the west bank of the Nile is a well-known ancient burial site dating back to the New Kingdom (from 16th to 11th centuries BC).
This magnificent site acted as the final resting place for numerous Pharaohs and Kings such as Tutankhamun and Ramses II.
The royal tombs of the valley were decorated with intricate hieroglyphs and colorful paintings presenting a distinctive impression into the ancient Egyptian funerary rituals and thoughts.
Colossi of Memnon:
The Colossi of Memnon are two massive quartzite statues of King Amenhotep III on the west bank of the Nile near Luxor. Kom Ombo Temple:
Kom Ombo Temple in southern Egypt is a distinctive monument for its dual dedication to the Gods Sobek who was the Crocodile God and Horus who was the Falcon of the sky. Kom Ombo Temple was built through the Ptolemaic dynasty, with a symmetrical style with two parallel sanctuaries.
The temple is famous for its well-preserved hieroglyphs, and it also includes a museum with mummified crocodiles, representing its strong association with the Crocodile God Sobek.

Abu Simbel Temple is a huge rock temple complex established by Pharaoh Ramses II in the 13th century BC. The site is composed of two temples: the largest one was dedicated to Ramses II and the smaller was dedicated to his Queen Nefertari.
Abu Simbel Temple is well-known for its colossal statues and complex engravements. The temple was relocated in the 1960s to preserve it from flooding because of Aswan High Dam.
Abu Simbel Temple remains an example and indication of ancient Egyptian intelligent engineering and creative artistry.

Philae Temple is an ancient Egyptian complex near Aswan, on Agilkia Island. This temple was originally built on Philae Island, the temple was transported due to the Aswan High Dam's establishment.
The temple was mainly dedicated to the Goddess Isis, housing dazzling pylons, courtyards, and hieroglyphic carvings. Philae Temple was erected during the Ptolemaic and Roman periods (3rd century BC to 3rd century CE). This fascinating temple is still a significant cultural heritage destination and popular tourist landmark.
The Unfinished Obelisk:
The Unfinished Obelisk in the Aswan stone quarries is an ancient Egyptian monument that was abandoned due to cracks in the granite.
If completed, it would have been the largest obelisk ever carved, reaching about 42 meters tall and weighing approximately 1,200 tons.
The Obelisk returns to the reign of Queen Hatshepsut in the New Kingdom, and it gives valuable glances into ancient Egyptian stone-working methods and is a favorable tourist destination today.

Aswan High Dam:
The High Dam across the Nile River in Aswan was completed in 1970. The dam was erected to control annual flooding, preserve increased water storage for irrigation, and generate hydroelectric power.
The dam construction created Lake Nasser which is one of the world's largest artificial lakes. The High Dam of Aswan is counted as one of the most massive engineering projects in modern history.

Kom El Shoqafa Catacombs:
The Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa are an ancient necropolis in Alexandria, combining Egyptian, Greek, and Roman architectural styles.
This archaeological site was discovered in 1900; these catacombs return to the 2nd century AD and are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.
The underground complex shows a labyrinth of tombs, statues, and engravements that represent the diverse cultural influences in Alexandria during the Greco-Roman period.
Pompey's Pillar:
Pompey's Pillar is a Roman triumphal column in Alexandria, standing at about 25 meters tall. It was established in 297 ADS to rejuvenate Emperor Diocletian and is one of the largest ancient monolithic pillars still in existence.
Despite its name, the pillar has no connection to Pompey the Great. It is one of the few remaining relics of the ancient Roman presence in Alexandria, giving insight into the city's rich classical history.
