Luxor Temple:
Luxor Temple on the east bank of the Nile River in Luxor is a large ancient Egyptian temple complex dedicated to the god Amun, his consort Mut, and their son Khonsu.
This temple was built around 1400 BC during the New Kingdom primarily by Pharaoh Amenhotep III and later expanded by Ramses the Great.
The temple has grandiose structures, including large pylons, statues, and obelisks. Luxor Temple was a focal center of the annual Opet Festival, a celebration of the Theban divine triad.

This golden epic temple is located at Deir el-Bahari near Luxor and acts as a magnificent example of ancient Egyptian architecture.
This temple which was designed by Hatshepsut's architect, Senenmut and it is famous for its terraces, colonnades, and complex reliefs depicting her divine birth and expeditions to the Land of Punt.
Hatshepsut's mortuary temple serves as an example to Hatshepsut's reign and her role as one of Egypt's few female pharaohs.
Valley of the Kings:
Valley of the Kings is a vast necropolis where royal tombs came into existence for the pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom (the 18th and 19th dynsties).
The valley is located on the west bank of the Nile, and includes 63 tombs, such as those of famous pharaohs like Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses II.
The tombs are well-known for their intricate decorations and hieroglyphs, ornamented to guide the deceased through the afterlife. The Valley of the Kings represents the ancient Egyptians' beliefs in immortality and the afterlife.
Colossi of Memnon:
Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone creatures of Pharaoh Amenhotep III on the west bank of the Nile near Luxor. Each statue reaches about 18 meters tall and depicts the seated pharaoh.
They were built originally as a part of a mortuary temple complex; the statues are now the most remarkable remnants of the site.
The Colossi are famous not only for their impressive size but also for the "singing" phenomenon recorded in ancient times, where one of the statues was said to make a musical sound at dawn, likely because of temperature changes causing the stone to crack.

Abu Simbel Temples are two gigantic rock-cut temples erected by king Ramesses II in the 13th century BC. The larger temple is dedicated to Ramses II himself and shows four colossal statues of the pharaoh seated on his throne.
The smaller temple is dedicated to his wife, Nefertari, and the goddess Hathor. The temples are famous for their grandeur and complicated hieroglyphs. In the 1960s, they were transported to higher ground to avoid flooding from the Aswan High Dam.

Aswan High Dam that completed in 1970 is a significant infrastructure project in southern Egypt on the Nile River. This dam created Lake Nasser which is one of the world's largest artificial lakes.
The dam was built to control annual flooding, provide water for irrigation, and generate hydroelectric power. This marvelous project has brought economic benefits and increased agricultural productivity.
The Unfinished Obelisk:
The Unfinished Obelisk is an ancient Egyptian monument in a quarry in Aswan. This obelisk is believed to have been commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut around 1500 BC.
The Unfinished Obelisk is the most massive known obelisk which planned to stand at around 42 meters and weigh nearly 1,200 tons.
The project was stopped due to joints appearing in the granite, providing valuable glimpses into the techniques of ancient Egyptian stone working and obelisk construction. Today, the obelisk is still partially attached to the bedrock which it was being carved of.
Philae Temple:
Philae Temple complex, originally established on Philae Island in the Nile River near Aswan is dedicated to the goddess Isis. This temple was constructed during the Ptolemaic period showing astonishing architecture and complicated reliefs.
Due to the construction of the Aswan High Dam, the temple complex was transported to the nearby Agilkia Island in the 1960s through an international UNESCO-led effort to preserve it from submersion and permitted it to remain a remarkable monument of ancient Egyptian cultural and religious heritage.
