Day 1: Arrive in Egypt – Nile Dinner Cruise

When you reach Cairo for the start of your 7 days Egypt trip, one of our representatives will be there in the appropriate time to help you finish your passport and luggage formalities, and our driver will then transport you to your delightful 5-star hotel in Cairo to check in.

Day 2: The Ancient Sights of Cairo & Giza – Fly to Aswan

After a delectable breakfast at your Cairo hotel, you will meet your Egyptologist up to witness:

Giza Pyramids Complex:

Giza Pyramids Complex boasts the three famous pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, Mykerinus. This marvelous complex was built during the fourth dynasty.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site also shows the Great Sphinx of Giza and various smaller pyramids and tombs. The pyramids, especially the Khufu Pyramid, are marvels of ancient engineering and have amazed historians and tourists alike for centuries, reflecting the architectural beauty and cultural significance of ancient Egypt.

 

The Great Pyramid of Khufu:

The Great Pyramid of Giza was established for Pharaoh Khufu, around 2580-2560 BC, and it is the largest of the three pyramids on the Giza Plateau as it originally reached about 146.6 meters tall.

Being the tallest man-made structure for over 3,800 years, the Great Pyramid indicates the advanced engineering skills of ancient Egypt.

This marvelous structure was built with about 2.3 million limestone blocks and served as Khufu's royal tomb. The Great Pyramid is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, attracting scholars and tourists with its historical significance and architectural grandeur.

 

The Great Sphinx:

The Great Sphinx on Giza Plateau is the royal guardian of the Giza Pyramids Complex. This mythical statue is the most famous man-made sculpture, made by King Khafre and it was carved from a single limestone block.

The Sphinx has the body of a lion and the human head putting on a royal headdress, and it's believed that it represents King Khafre.

 

The Valley Temple:

It’s one of the best-preserved funerary monuments at the Giza Necropolis, which was commissioned by Pharaoh Chephren to glorify the mummies of ancient Egypt rulers during the 4th dynasty.

 

The Egyptian Museum:

The charming Egyptian Museum in Cairo's Tahrir Square is considered the pearl of Egypt Civilization. This incredible museum was constructed to show the intelligence and brilliance of the ancient Egyptian history.

The Egyptian Museum houses about 120000 artifacts of the unique Egyptian antiquities, which represent the Egyptian history from more than 5000 years ago.

 

After enjoying a good restaurant in an excellent restaurant, you will head to visit:

Khan El-Khalili:

Khan El Khalili is an ancient known market place in the old districts of Cairo. This market was established during the Mamluk Era, and it was a significant hub for global trade and goods exchange, where tourists usually purchase precious souvenirs, jewelry, clothes, species and more.  

It’s the time for a private drive to the airport to fly domestically to Aswan, where we will drive you to a 5-Stars hotel in Aswan for a seamless check in and overnight.

Day 3: Head out to the Sightseeing of Aswan

The 3rd day of your Egypt package trip includes a hotel breakfast in Aswan and a private escort with your guide to allure:

Philae Temple:

Philae Temple was constructed during the Greco-Roman Era, this marvelous temple is regarded as the second largest Temple after Karnak Temple, and it was originally erected on the Philae Island but it's now on the Agilika Island for preserving it from flooding of the High Dam.

Philae Temple was dedicated to Isis, Osiris, and Horus. This massive temple was the major religious destination during this period in ancient Egypt.

 

The Unfinished Obelisk:

Unfinished Obelisk in the high-quality granite quarries in South of Aswan was carved by Queen Hatshepsut. Queen Hatshepsut aimed for this obelisk to be stood in Karnak Temple as the largest obelisk ever carved.

However, her target hadn't been achieved because of the joints appeared along the obelisk during the carving process. The obelisk was left in the quarries where it was being carved.

This Unfinished Obelisk provides precious information about the techniques, methods, and ways of stone-cutting in ancient Egypt.

 

Your lunch is proceeded at a Nile view restaurant in Aswan and move to witness:

The High Dam:

The High Dam of Aswan is one of the most significant projects in the 20th century. It was commissioned by President Gamal Abd El-Nasser in the 60s. The High Dam plays a very distinctive role in generating hydroelectricity to Egypt and saving the water of the Nile during the flood times.

Establishing the High Dam helped in Creating Lake Nasser which is one of the most significant artificial lakes in the world.

 

Once it’s finished, your guide will drive you back to your hotel in Aswan for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Travel to the Sights of Abu Simbel

You receive breakfast boxes from your hotel, before your Egyptologist picks you up to guide you towards:

Abu Simbel Temples:

Abu Simbel Temple complex in southern Egypt near the Nile River was constructed during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II in the 13th century BC. The entire complex includes two main temples carved into a mountainside.

The larger temple was dedicated to Ramses II himself and contains colossal statues of the pharaoh, while the smaller temple is dedicated to the goddess Hathor and Queen Nefertari.

The temples are famous for their enigma, mystery and the engineering feat involved in relocating them in the 1960s to preserve them from flooding of the Aswan High Dam.

 

Next, we transport you back to enjoy lunch in Aswan and drop off at your hotel to enjoy another amazing night’s stay in the Nubian city of Aswan.

Day 5: Transfer to Kom Ombo & Edfu – Arrive in Luxor

Kom Ombo Temple:

Kom Ombo Temple is an imposing archaeological structure which was erected during the Ptolemaic dynasty and expanded during the Roman period.

This astonishing temple was dedicated to two ancient Egyptian deities who are Sobek, the Crocodile God and Horus, the Falcon of the Sky, which gave it its global fame.

 

Your guide will then drive you to witness:

Temple of Edfu:

The amazing Temple of Edfu is one of the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temples and an example of the great Greco-Roman architecture.

This marvelous temple was established during the Ptolemaic dynasty between 237 and 57 BC. Temple of Edfu was dedicated to the falcon god of the sky, Horus.

 

Afterwards, your driver will escort you to Luxor to enjoy mouthwatering lunch at a restaurant and check into 5-Stars hotel to spend the night.

Day 6: Sightseeing of Luxor East & West Banks – Fly to Cairo

Karnak Temple Complex is one of the major ancient religious sites in the world. The construction process of this temple began in 1970 BC, during the reign of King Seti I.

Karnak Temple was dedicated to Amun, his wife Mut, and his son Khonsu. Karnak Temple is connected to Luxor Temple by the Avenue of the Sphinxes which reflects the power of ancient Egyptian architecture and the cleverest craftsmen and engineers ever.

 

Valley of the Kings:

The Valley of the Kings is an underground complex of tombs in Luxor which was established in an old dry valley of the Nile and filled with about 63 royal tombs of Kings and nobles of the new kingdom (1570- 1050 BC). The Valley of the Kings was the major royal necropolis in ancient Egypt.

 

Queen Hatshepsut Temple:

Queen Hatshepsut Temple in Luxor displays the best example of the New Kingdom's classical architecture. Queen Hatshepsut erected this enchanting wonder in 1479 BC to honor God Amun and to commemorate her strength and make her name immortal forever.

This magnificent temple serves as a testament to the great ancient Egyptian architecture and civilization.

 

Colossi of Memnon:

They are two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III which were erected in 1350BC to serve as a massive piece of art. There are several artistic engravements on its sides showing his family, heritage, and the Nile god Hapi.

They are standing in front of the ruins of the mortuary temple of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.

The Colossi of Memnon gained their fame due to the phenomenon of emitting sound like music at dawn, it's thought that they are singing but the scientific explanation is the change of temperature making rapture in stones which makes this sound.

 

After concluding the tour, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Then, we’ll transfer you to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo and check-in at a 5-star hotel.
