Day 2: Pyramids Day Tour

You will enjoy your breakfast at our hotel, then you will meet our tour guide to start your tour to one of the world’s seven wonders, which was constructed around 4500 years ago to endure an eternity of Egypt’s old kingdoms

Egypt’s Pharaohs, who believed in the afterlife, had erected temples to their gods and giant pyramids as tombs for themselves with all their needs, treasures, and even favorite pets, built in a majestic way that has been a mystery for centuries.

The Great Pyramid of Giza:

It was built by King Khufu, and considered the tallest man-made structure for 3800 years. The baffling thing is the ancient Egyptians’ ability to build such a significant structure using prehistoric techniques and tools.

Because of its intricate interior, given its size, the pyramid is surrounded by mysterious and enigmatic theories. You will also have a look at the other 2 Pyramids of Chephren and Mykerinus Pyramid.

The Great Sphinx:

The Sphinx is believed to be the oldest known statue in the world. For centuries, it has inspired travelers, artists, poets, and philosophers with its deep religious significance in ancient Egypt.

Standing 73 meters long, the Sphinx depicts a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human—a powerful symbol of wisdom and strength.

The Valley Temple:

One of the most well-preserved structures of ancient Egypt, where the mind-blowing and mysterious mummification process took place. It was made from granite and limestone that holds mesmerizing little diorite statues of King Chephren of the fourth dynasty.

You’ll enjoy lunch at one of our authentic oriental restaurants, then continue your historical tour to:

Saqqara Step Pyramid:

One of Egypt’s greatest legacies and the oldest stone structure of its kind in the world, the original model for all future pyramids. Its unique construction offers a rare chance to explore the interior and experience the brilliance of ancient Egyptian architecture and civilization up close.

Memphis City:

The graceful city of Memphis was once the greatest metropolis in ancient Egypt’s territory. It was the seat of power of Egyptian kings for many centuries, starting from the first dynasty of unified Egypt.

The city was endowed with magnificent, eye-catching monuments and witnessed numerous historical events in prosperity.

After completing your day tour, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, our driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel for check-in and a well-deserved rest before the next day’s adventures.

3

Day 3: Trip to Abu Simbel

In the early morning, you'll receive your breakfast box from the hotel, then continue your 10 Days Cairo, Nile Cruise & Hurghada Tour with a guided day trip to Abu Simbel.

Abu Simbel Temple:

One of the most iconic symbols of ancient Egypt, especially during the reign of King Ramses II. The temple perfectly reflects his ambition and deep affection for his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari.

Its significance lies not only in its grand scale and artistry but also in the remarkable astrological phenomenon that occurs twice a year—on February 22nd (Ramses’s birthday) and October 22nd (his coronation day)—when the sun aligns to illuminate the inner sanctuary.

After the tour, you’ll be driven back to Aswan and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

4

Day 4: Aswan day tour + train to Luxor

You’ll start your day with breakfast at the hotel, then meet your tour guide for a sightseeing tour around Aswan.

Aswan High Dam:

One of Egypt’s most important modern achievements. Built with support from UNESCO, it brought the Nile’s annual flooding under control for the first time and now serves as a major source of electricity for the country.

The Unfinished Obelisk:

A massive stone monument was left incomplete in its quarry. It offers a fascinating glimpse into the advanced techniques ancient Egyptians used in stone carving, so impressive that they still amaze experts today.

Philae Temple:

The last temple built in the classical Egyptian style. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, it’s filled with colorful scenes that tell the famous myth of Isis and Osiris. For centuries, it was a sacred pilgrimage site for both Egyptians and Nubians.

After the tour, you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then head to the train station to catch your first-class train to Luxor. Upon arrival, our driver will meet you and take you to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

5

Day 5: Visit Luxor East Bank

After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, our tour guide will accompany you to enjoy a visit to the East Bank attractions in Luxor City, including:

Karnak Temple:

The complex consists of 3 main temples dedicated to the sun god Amon, the sun goddess Mut, and the moon god Khonsu, their son, a great holy lake, and also a great collection of outstanding statues and huge elegantly-painted columns found everywhere in the temple along with the largest standing obelisk on earth that was built as a gift for Amun by the great pharaoh ruler, Hatshepsut.

Luxor Temple:

It was mainly dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship, and many pharaohs were crowned there. Its design is truly captivating, with spacious, detailed decorations that glow beautifully, especially at night under the colorful lights.

Then, we will transfer you back to your hotel at night.

6

Day 6: Visit Luxor West Bank

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before continuing your 10-Day Cairo, Nile Cruise & Hurghada Tour with an exciting visit to Luxor’s West Bank, including:

Valley of the Kings:

It is considered the most important burial site in ancient Egypt, with around 63 tombs belonging to pharaohs and royal families. Hidden among the rocky hills of the hot desert, its maze-like layout was designed to protect the tombs from thieves.

Some of the most famous tombs belong to King Tutankhamun, Queen Hatshepsut, and King Ramses II.

Hatshepsut Temple:

Located on the West Bank of Luxor at the base of the cliffs in Deir el-Bahari, near the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as Djeser-Djeseru, meaning "Holy of Holies," was built in 1479 BC by Egypt’s only female pharaoh, Queen Hatshepsut.

She oversaw its design and decoration, leaving behind a unique architectural legacy that highlights her vision and leadership. The temple also features an impressive collection of ancient statues and carvings.

Colossi of Memnon:

Two towering statues made of quartzite sandstone, each standing 18 meters tall and weighing around 720 tons. They became famous not only for their impressive size and craftsmanship.

But also for the legends and stories surrounding them, especially the mysterious sounds once heard from the northern statue, which made it a symbol of good luck in the ancient world. Despite damage from earthquakes and erosion, they remain a major tourist attraction today.

After your day tour, you’ll enjoy dinner at one of our restaurants, then we’ll transfer you in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to Hurghada for hotel check-in and an overnight stay.

7

Day 7: Enjoy Snorkeling Excursion in Hurghada

The Egyptian Museum:

Built in 1901, the Egyptian Museum, also known as the Museum of Antiquities, was the largest in Africa until the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum.

It houses a vast collection of ancient artifacts, including an extraordinary display of Pharaonic treasures. The highlight is the famous collection of King Tutankhamun, especially his iconic golden mask, regarded as one of the most remarkable pieces of art in the world.

Salah El-Din Citadel:

Constructed by Salah El-Din Al-Ayyubi, this impressive fortress is one of Egypt’s most important Islamic landmarks. With its beautifully detailed architecture and historical significance.

The citadel once served as the seat of government during the Islamic era. It houses several mosques and museums, including the magnificent Mohamed Ali Mosque, which dominates Cairo’s skyline.

The Hanging Church:

Also known as the "Holy Church of the Virgin Mary," the Hanging Church was built above the remains of the Roman fortress of Babylon.

It’s one of the most captivating churches in the Middle East, famous for its architecture and deep historical significance. According to tradition, it served as a refuge for the Holy Family during their journey through Egypt.

Al-Muizz Street:

It is one of the most important places in Egypt’s Islamic history and still displays the greatest density of notable Islamic monuments anywhere in the world today.

There are some impressive monuments scattered along its length, such as Al Aqmar mosque, Bayt Al Suhaymi, and El Ghorya, and it is also home to thousands of craftsmen making wares to sell in Khan El-Khalili.

Khan El-Khalili Bazaar:

Dating back to the 14th century, Khan El-Khalili is the oldest and most famous market in the Middle East. Built in the Mamluk architectural style, this historic bazaar features narrow alleyways, arched roofs, and large gates once used to protect valuable goods.
