Day 2: Marvels of Cairo and Pyramids – Fly to Aswan
After breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, meet your expert Egyptologist guide for a full-day tour of the city's legendary landmarks, starting with the ancient wonders of the Giza Plateau.
Giza Pyramids Complex:
Explore the awe-inspiring Giza Pyramids Complex, home to the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure—built over 4,500 years ago as grand royal tombs during Egypt’s Fourth Dynasty.
This iconic site also features the enigmatic Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Khafre, showcasing the architectural brilliance and spiritual beliefs of ancient Egyptian civilization.
The Great Pyramid:
Also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, the Great Pyramid is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids and the only surviving wonder of the ancient world. Standing at 146.6 meters when first built, it was constructed from 2.3 million limestone blocks—an unmatched engineering feat of its time.
The Great Sphinx:
The mythical Great Sphinx, carved from a single limestone outcrop, features a lion’s body and a pharaoh’s head—believed to represent King Khafre. Measuring 73 meters long and 20 meters high, the Sphinx is among the largest and oldest monolithic statues in the world.
The Valley Temple:
The Valley Temple of Khafre was part of the funerary complex used for mummification rituals. Remarkably well-preserved, it offers insight into Old Kingdom religious practices and ancient construction methods.
The Egyptian Museum:
Continue your tour at the Egyptian Museum, home to more than 120,000 priceless artifacts. Discover the treasures of Tutankhamun, including his iconic golden mask, royal mummies, and relics that span over 3,000 years of Pharaonic history.
Khan El Khalili Bazaar:
After lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant, enjoy a stroll through the historic Khan El Khalili Bazaar—Cairo’s most famous market, dating back to the Mamluk Era. Shop for unique souvenirs, try traditional garments, and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of old Cairo.
At the end of the tour, you’ll be transferred to Cairo Airport for a short domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, check into your 5★ hotel and enjoy a peaceful night’s stay.
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
Day 3: Temples of Abu Simbel – Train to Luxor
On the third day of your 7 Days Cairo, Abu Simbel, Luxor & Bahariya Oasis Tour, enjoy an early breakfast box prepared by your hotel. Your personal Egyptologist guide will pick you up in a modern A/C vehicle for a scenic drive to Abu Simbel, near the Sudanese border.
Abu Simbel Temple:
Discover the majestic Abu Simbel Temple, one of Egypt’s most breathtaking monuments. Built in the 13th century BC by Pharaoh Ramses II, this twin temple complex is carved directly into the sandstone cliffs and features four colossal seated statues of the pharaoh at its entrance.
The inner sanctuaries are adorned with intricate reliefs and hieroglyphs that reflect Ramses II’s military triumphs and devotion to the gods. In the 1960s, the temple was miraculously relocated to higher ground to protect it from the waters of Lake Nasser following the construction of the Aswan High Dam—an incredible feat of modern preservation.
After returning to Aswan, enjoy a well-deserved lunch at a local restaurant. Later, your driver will transfer you to Aswan Railway Station, where you'll board a comfortable 1st-class train to Luxor.
Upon arrival, we’ll escort you to a luxurious 5★ hotel in Luxor for check-in and a relaxing overnight stay.
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
Day 4: Luxor Sightseeing – Fly to Cairo
After breakfast, your expert tour guide will accompany you to explore the most captivating attractions on Luxor’s East and West Banks as part of your 7 Days Cairo, Abu Simbel, Luxor & Bahariya Oasis Tour.
Karnak Temple:
Begin with a visit to the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple—Egypt’s largest temple complex. Dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, Karnak showcases towering columns, sacred lakes, and the famous Avenue of Sphinxes linking it to Luxor Temple.
Valley of the Kings:
Continue to the Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s New Kingdom pharaohs. This iconic necropolis holds richly decorated tombs, including that of the boy king Tutankhamun.
Hatshepsut Temple:
Next, marvel at the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of ancient architecture built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. It honors Egypt’s most powerful female pharaoh.
Colossi of Memnon:
Wrap up your Luxor tour with a stop at the towering Colossi of Memnon, two seated statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood guard for over 3,000 years.
After lunch at a local restaurant, transfer to Luxor Airport for your return flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, check into your 5★ hotel for a relaxing evening.
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
Day 5: Transfer to Bahariya Oasis – Desert Camp
After breakfast and check-out from your Cairo hotel, meet your private escort and travel by 4×4 Jeep vehicle toward the enchanting Western Desert to explore:
Bahariya Oasis:
Bahariya Oasis lies 365 km southwest of Cairo and is the most accessible oasis in Egypt’s Western Desert. Once a vital agricultural center in the Pharaonic era, it flourished due to its position on the Libya–Nile Valley trade route.
Recent archaeological discoveries and improved access have made Bahariya a must-visit destination for those eager to uncover Egypt’s desert secrets.
Black Desert:
The surreal Black Desert stretches along 30 kilometers of volcanic mounds coated in black basalt. These dome-shaped hills rise up to 100 meters high and are remnants of volcanic activity dating back 180 million years.
Iron sandstone and dolerite give this region its dark hue, making it a rare geological spectacle between Bahariya and the White Desert.
El Heiz Village:
El Heiz (or El-Hayez) is the southernmost village in the oasis region, located 50 km from Bawiti. Known for its isolation and natural beauty, El Heiz features an oasis rich in fossils like nummulites, which have been the subject of genetic studies.
Enjoy a delicious lunch in the desert, then continue your off-road journey to:
Valley of Agabat:
Agabat, meaning “The Beautiful Valley,” is a remote, rugged area nestled between white cliffs and dramatic rock formations. Though small, its surreal landscapes make it a captivating stop on your journey toward the White Desert.
White Desert:
The iconic White Desert is one of Egypt’s most stunning natural reserves. Once an ancient seabed, it now features unique limestone formations shaped over millions of years into surreal figures like mushrooms and “devil’s tables.”
Located between Bahariya and Farafra, this 300 km² stretch of desert is a dream for photographers and nature lovers alike.
After exploring, you’ll enjoy a magical night of desert camping under the stars, complete with a freshly prepared dinner and traditional Bedouin hospitality.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Day 6: Continue Oasis Tour – Back to Cairo
Enjoy breakfast at your desert campsite before heading out with your expert guide to discover one of Egypt’s hidden natural gems:
Crystal Mountain:
Crystal Mountain, located about 160 km from Bahariya Oasis, is a breathtaking natural formation in the heart of the White Desert. Often called the “jewel of the desert,” this mountain shimmers with over a dozen types of quartz and calcite crystals.
Formed from metamorphic calcite rock, the sparkling hill is believed to be an ancient cave that was uplifted by tectonic forces and later eroded by wind and weather into its current form. It’s one of the most unique geological wonders in the Farafra region.
After exploring the mountain and taking some unforgettable photos, you’ll make the journey back to Cairo. Upon arrival, check into your 5★ hotel and enjoy a peaceful evening at leisure.
