Your Valley of the Queens and Habu Temple Day Trip begins with pickup from your Luxor hotel, where you meet your expert Egyptologist guide and cross to the West Bank to explore some of its most remarkable archaeological sites.

Habu Temple:

Medinet Habu was one of the most important sacred sites in ancient Thebes. It is best known for the grand mortuary temple of Ramses III, with massive pylons, detailed reliefs, and well-preserved scenes that show royal ceremonies, battles, and religious rituals.

Valley of the Queens:

Located on the southern side of the Theban cliffs, the Valley of the Queens contains more than 75 tombs belonging to queens, princesses, princes, and royal children of the New Kingdom. The most famous tomb is the beautiful Tomb of Nefertari, along with other important tombs such as those of Titi, Khaemwaset, and Amunherkhepshef.

After exploring the Valley of the Queens, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your tour through Luxor’s historic West Bank.

Ramesseum Temple:

The Ramesseum was the mortuary temple of Ramses II, one of ancient Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs. Although parts of the temple are now ruined, the site still displays colossal statues, monumental columns, and reliefs that reflect the king’s military achievements and divine status.

Deir El-Medina:

Deir El-Medina was the village of the skilled artisans who carved and decorated the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens. This well-preserved settlement gives a rare look into the daily life, homes, beliefs, and work of the craftsmen who served the royal necropolis.

At the end of your Valley of the Queens Tour, you will return comfortably to your Luxor hotel.
