Day 2: Visit Cairo Museum and Pyramids + Fly to Aswan

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, check out and meet your private Egyptologist guide to begin a day of exploring the treasures of ancient Egypt.

Giza Pyramids Complex:

Your tour starts at the legendary Giza Necropolis, one of the world’s oldest and most iconic archaeological sites, dating back over 4,500 years. The complex includes the three Great Pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple, all preserved on the edge of the Sahara.

The Great Pyramid of Giza:

Built around 2580 BC for Pharaoh Khufu, the Great Pyramid is the only surviving monument of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Constructed using approximately 2.3 million limestone blocks, it originally stood at 147 meters (481 feet) and remained the tallest man-made structure for over 3,800 years. Its incredible precision and mysterious design continue to awe visitors and scholars alike.

The Great Sphinx of Giza:

The top-notch sphinx is one of the most enigmatic artifacts in the world; it is formed like a mythical monster called the sphinx, which has the frame of a lion and the head of a man, thought to be King Khafre, and it represents strength and brilliance. It’s called Abu al-Hawl, which means “The Father of Terror” in Arabic. The sphinx is 73 meters (240 ft) tall and 19 meters (66 ft) extensive and was carved out of a single limestone boulder.

The Valley Temple

This well-preserved structure was used for the mummification and purification rituals of royalty during the Old Kingdom (2686–2134 BC). It stands as one of Egypt’s finest examples of ancient mortuary architecture and religious tradition.

After you explore the Giza Plateau, enjoy lunch at a quality local restaurant in Cairo.

The Egyptian Museum:

Continue your journey with a visit to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, home to the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. The museum features over 150,000 items spanning more than 4,000 years, including statues, jewelry, mummies, and the world-renowned treasures of King Tutankhamun. Highlights also include the Narmer Palette, royal sarcophagi, and intricately preserved papyrus scrolls.

At the end of the tour, you'll be transferred to Cairo Airport to catch your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, our team will escort you to your 5-star hotel for an overnight stay.

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 3: Discover the Splendors of Aswan

Today, you’ll join your private Egyptologist guide to explore the most iconic historical landmarks in Aswan.

High Dam of Aswan:

Begin your day with a visit to the impressive High Dam, constructed between 1960 and 1970 under the leadership of President Gamal Abdel Nasser. Built in collaboration with the Soviet Union’s Hydro Project Institute, the dam was designed to control Nile flooding, generate hydroelectric power, and improve water storage for agricultural development in Lake Nasser.

Temple of Philae:

Next, head to the enchanting Temple of Philae, a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture and mythology. This temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis and is closely tied to the legend of Osiris, her husband, who was slain by his jealous brother Set.

Osiris was later resurrected as king of the underworld, while their son Horus battled Set to restore order. In the 1960s, the temple was relocated to Agilkia Island in a major UNESCO-led rescue effort following the construction of the High Dam.

The Unfinished Obelisk:

Visit the site of the Unfinished Obelisk, commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC). Had it been completed, it would have stood 42 meters tall and weighed around 1,200 tons, making it the largest known ancient obelisk. The obelisk remains partially carved from the bedrock, offering remarkable insight into ancient stone-carving techniques.

After this enriching tour, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then return to your 5-star hotel in Aswan to relax and unwind.

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 4: Appealing Tour to Abu Simbel – Train to Luxor

Check out your hotel just after receiving your breakfast boxes to join your private guide to continue our 6 Days Easter Tour in Cairo, Luxor, Aswan & Abu Simbel by exploring:

Temples of Abu Simbel:

Commissioned by King Ramses II (1279–1213 BCE) during the New Kingdom, the Abu Simbel Temples were built to immortalize his legacy and mark Egypt’s southern border. These two magnificent rock-cut temples, known as the "Temple of Ramesses, Amun’s Favorite," stand as a symbol of grandeur, power, and divine reverence.

The larger temple is aligned in such a way that, twice a year, on February 22 and October 22—the rising sun illuminates the faces of four statues seated within the sanctuary: Ramses II, Ptah (God of Creation), Amun (The Creator God), and Ra-Horakhty (Sun God). The smaller temple is dedicated to Queen Nefertari, the beloved wife of Ramses II, and honors the goddess Hathor.

Afterwards, we’ll drive you back to Aswan for lunch before you board a first-class train to Luxor, where you’ll be taken to enjoy an overnight stay at one of our 5-star hotels.

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 5: Step into the Icons of Luxor – Back to Cairo

Your fifth day in Egypt’s Easter holiday brings you to the heart of ancient Thebes, home to some of the most iconic monuments in Egyptian history.

Valley of the Kings:

Hidden within the Theban hills, the Valley of the Kings served as the royal necropolis of Egypt’s New Kingdom (1570–1070 BC). This UNESCO World Heritage Site contains 63 tombs of pharaohs, queens, and nobles, including Rameses I–X, Amenhotep I, Queen Hatshepsut, and the famed boy-king Tutankhamun. The tombs are richly decorated with religious texts, carvings, and treasures that reflect the beliefs and artistry of the time.

Temple of Hatshepsut:

Next, visit the stunning Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also known as Djeser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies). Built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, this temple exemplifies classical New Kingdom architecture and commemorates one of Egypt’s most successful and powerful female pharaohs.

The temple features beautifully preserved reliefs, sculptures, and terraces honoring Hatshepsut’s legacy and her devotion to the god Amun.

Colossi of Memnon:

Stop at the massive Colossi of Memnon, two towering quartzite statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386–1350 BC). Standing 18 meters (60 feet) tall and weighing over 720 tons each, these impressive sentinels once guarded the entrance to the king’s mortuary temple and have fascinated visitors since antiquity.

Lunch and Nile Boat Ride:

Enjoy lunch served on a tranquil island in the Nile River, reached by a short scenic boat ride, an unforgettable way to relax before your next visit.

Karnak Temple:

Conclude your Luxor experience at Karnak Temple, the largest religious structure ever built by man and one of Egypt’s most awe-inspiring landmarks. Known as Ipet-isut ("The Most Selected of Places"), Karnak was the spiritual heart of ancient Egypt for over 1,500 years.

The vast complex honors the Theban triad: Amun-Ra, Mut, and Khonsu, and also features contributions from later rulers who worshipped deities like Osiris, Montu, Ptah, and Isis. Don’t miss the Hypostyle Hall and Avenue of Sphinxes, true masterpieces of ancient architecture.

After your visit, you’ll be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, check into your 5-star hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.
