6 Days Cairo and Nile Cruise Honeymoon Package

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will meet you and assist with the arrival procedures and baggage collection. You will then be transferred by private, air-conditioned vehicle to your selected hotel in Cairo for check-in and some time to rest.

Nile River Dinner Cruise:

In the evening start our 6 Days Cairo and Nile Cruise Honeymoon Package with a dinner cruise on the Nile, a relaxed way to spend your first night together in Cairo. Dinner is served buffet-style while you sail along the river, with live entertainment including traditional Tanoura and belly dancing performances. After the cruise, you will be transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

After breakfast at your hotel, meet your private Egyptologist guide and begin a full day of sightseeing in Cairo before flying to Aswan later in the day.

Giza Pyramids Complex:

Explore the Giza Plateau, home to the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, along with the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Your guide will introduce you to the history of the complex and the royal funerary monuments built here during Egypt’s Old Kingdom.

The Great Pyramid:

See the Great Pyramid of Khufu, built during the Fourth Dynasty and the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World. Its enormous scale and precise construction make it one of the most remarkable monuments of ancient Egypt.

The Great Sphinx:

Continue to the Great Sphinx, the monumental limestone figure with the body of a lion and the head of a king. Located beside Khafre’s pyramid complex, it remains one of the most recognizable monuments on the Giza Plateau.

The Valley Temple:

Visit the Valley Temple of Khafre, an important part of the king’s pyramid complex. Built from massive limestone and granite blocks, the temple was connected with the royal funerary ceremonies associated with Khafre’s burial complex.

The Grand Egyptian Museum:

Next, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum near the Giza Pyramids. Explore its extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, monumental statues, and the treasures associated with King Tutankhamun while learning more about Egypt’s pharaonic history.

The Egyptian Museum:

Continue to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, one of Cairo’s historic museums and home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities from different periods. The visit provides another perspective on Egypt’s archaeological heritage and the development of its museum collections.

After lunch at a local restaurant, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your 5★ Nile cruise for embarkation. Enjoy dinner on board and settle into your cabin for the night.

After breakfast on board your Nile cruise, meet your guide and begin a private sightseeing tour of Aswan’s main highlights before returning to the ship and continuing your journey along the Nile.

The High Dam:

Visit the Aswan High Dam, one of Egypt’s major modern engineering projects. Built across the Nile, the dam transformed flood control and water management in Egypt and created Lake Nasser to the south of Aswan.

Philae Temple:

Take a short boat ride to the Philae temple complex on Agilkia Island. The site is best known for its Temple of Isis, with courtyards, columns, reliefs, and inscriptions dating mainly to the Ptolemaic and Roman periods. The monuments were relocated from the original Philae Island during the international campaign to save Nubian monuments from the rising waters caused by the construction of the High Dam.

The Unfinished Obelisk:

Continue to the ancient granite quarries to see the Unfinished Obelisk, which remains partly attached to the bedrock after cracks appeared during its construction. Had it been completed, it would have stood around 42 meters high, making it taller than any other known ancient Egyptian obelisk. The site offers a useful look at how the ancient Egyptians quarried and shaped enormous stone monuments.

After the tour, return to your Nile cruise for lunch and afternoon tea on board. Spend the rest of the day relaxing as the cruise sails toward Kom Ombo, followed by dinner and an overnight stay on board.

After breakfast on board, continue sailing through Upper Egypt and visit two of the most important temples along the Nile: Kom Ombo and Edfu.

Kom Ombo Temple:

Visit Kom Ombo Temple, dramatically positioned beside the Nile. The temple is unusual for its symmetrical double design, with parallel sections dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, or Horus the Elder. Your guide will explain the temple’s history, reliefs, and the religious traditions associated with both deities.

Edfu Temple:

Continue to Edfu Temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus and one of the most complete ancient Egyptian temples still standing today. Built during the Ptolemaic Period, the temple is known for its massive pylons, columned halls, detailed reliefs, and remarkably well-preserved architecture.

After the visits, return to your Nile cruise and continue sailing toward Luxor. Enjoy lunch and time to relax on board as the ship makes its way north along the Nile, followed by dinner and an overnight stay on the cruise.

After breakfast on board, meet your private Egyptologist guide and begin a full-day tour of Luxor’s East and West Banks. Today you will explore some of the city’s most important temples and royal burial sites before flying back to Cairo.

Karnak Temple:

Begin at the Karnak Temple Complex on Luxor’s East Bank, one of the most important religious centers of ancient Egypt. Developed over many centuries, the complex includes temples, chapels, obelisks, and monumental gateways dedicated to several deities, with the great Precinct of Amun-Ra at its heart. One of its most impressive features is the Great Hypostyle Hall, supported by 134 massive columns.

Valley of the Kings:

Continue to the Valley of the Kings on Luxor’s West Bank, where rulers of Egypt’s New Kingdom were buried in tombs cut deep into the surrounding cliffs. More than 60 tombs are known in the valley, including KV62, the tomb of Tutankhamun. Inside the accessible tombs, you can see painted scenes and funerary texts created to guide the deceased king through the afterlife.

Hatshepsut Temple:

Visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, built for the queen who became pharaoh during Egypt’s Eighteenth Dynasty. Set against the cliffs of the Theban mountains, the temple rises across three terraced levels connected by ramps and colonnades. Its surviving reliefs include scenes of Hatshepsut’s divine birth and her famous expedition to the land of Punt.

Colossi of Memnon:

Stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous seated statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that once stood at the entrance to his mortuary temple. Each statue rises approximately 18 meters high and is among the most recognizable surviving monuments on Luxor’s West Bank.

After completing your sightseeing, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to Luxor International Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your selected hotel in Cairo for check-in and an overnight stay.
