Day 1: Start our 4 Days Egypt Easter Nile Cruise

Our qualified Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel, airport, or train station in Aswan at the scheduled time in an air-conditioned vehicle to begin your 4-day Egypt Easter Nile Cruise tour with a visit to:

Philae Temple:

Philae Temple held great significance for the ancient Egyptians, who believed the Nile River originated there. It also housed a symbolic tomb of Osiris, created by his consort, the goddess Isis, to deceive the god Seth.

The temple complex contains several structures, the largest and most intact being the Temple of Isis, the goddess of magic. Construction began in 280 BC and was completed in 80 BC.

When the original site was threatened by flooding, the temple was carefully dismantled into 40,000 pieces and relocated to Agilkia Island, which now bears the name Philae. The original island lies submerged beneath the waters.

Aswan High Dam:

Aswan is home to two dams: the original Aswan Dam, built by the British in 1889, and the more recent High Dam, constructed during President Nasser’s era. The High Dam, completed in 1960, is considered a modern engineering marvel. It protects Egypt from annual Nile floods and generates hydroelectric power.

However, its construction also led to the displacement of Nubian communities. Behind the dam lies Lake Nasser — the largest artificial lake in the world, stretching over 500 kilometers.

The Unfinished Obelisk:

Located in a granite quarry on the east bank of Aswan, the Unfinished Obelisk offers incredible insight into ancient Egyptian stone-cutting techniques.

Believed to have been commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s most renowned female pharaoh, this obelisk would have been the largest ever erected if completed. Its partially carved state reveals the methods used by ancient workers to shape massive monuments from solid stone.

After completing your tour, you will be escorted to board your 5-star deluxe Nile cruise in Aswan, where you’ll enjoy a delightful evening onboard.

Meals: Lunch and Dinner

Day 2: Trip to Sightseeing of Abu Simbel

Today, enjoy your breakfast boxes before joining your private Egyptologist in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to visit:

Temples of Abu Simbel:

Experience the awe-inspiring grandeur of the Abu Simbel Temples — two of Egypt’s most iconic and magnificent ancient monuments. Located near the southern border with Sudan. These temples are filled with remarkable pharaonic treasures. Commissioned by Pharaoh Ramesses II (Ramesses the Great), they were built to commemorate his military victories, particularly the famous Battle of Kadesh, and to honor the gods.

After this incredible visit, return to your deluxe Nile cruise to enjoy lunch onboard. Your cruise will begin sailing, allowing you to relax and enjoy a peaceful evening on the Nile.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 3: Sail to Edfu and Kom Ombo – Arrive in Luxor

Sail along one of the world’s most legendary rivers on this 3-night Egypt Easter Nile Cruise tour. Start your day with a delightful onboard breakfast, and enjoy the luxury of your 5★ cruise with spacious cabins, delicious meals, tea breaks, a swimming pool, and themed evening entertainment. Accompanied by a professional Egyptologist guide, you’ll explore some of southern Egypt’s most iconic sites, including the majestic temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu.

Temple of Kom Ombo:

Kom Ombo is the only double temple in Egypt, uniquely dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile-headed god of the Nile, and Haroeris (Horus the Elder), the falcon-headed god. Located in the Aswan Governorate.

This Ptolemaic-era temple was built during the reign of Ptolemy VI and features twin sanctuaries, symmetrical halls, and fascinating medical carvings.

Continue sailing to visit:

Temple of Edfu:

Edfu Temple, also known as the Temple of Horus, stands on the west bank of the Nile in Upper Egypt. This remarkably well-preserved shrine was constructed between 237 and 57 BC during the Ptolemaic period. Its massive pylons, intricate hieroglyphs, and mythological reliefs provide deep insight into the religious practices and beliefs of ancient Egypt.

Return to your cruise ship to enjoy lunch and dinner onboard as you continue sailing toward Luxor.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 4: Explore the Legacy of Luxor – End of Cruise Trip

The End of your 4 Days Egypt Easter Nile Cruise Tour from Aswan to Luxor.

Begin your final day with a hearty breakfast aboard your Nile Cruise. After check-out, meet your expert Egyptologist guide to begin your exploration of Luxor’s ancient treasures.

Temple Complex of Karnak:

Begin on the East Bank with a visit to the majestic Karnak Temple, one of the largest religious complexes ever built. Dedicated to the Theban triad — Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.

Karnak served as the spiritual center of ancient Egypt for over 2,000 years and is a breathtaking example of pharaonic devotion and architectural grandeur.

Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the West Bank.

Valley of the Kings:

Explore the legendary Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s greatest rulers from the New Kingdom. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to over 60 royal tombs, including those of Tutankhamun, Ramses VI, Thutmose I, Thutmose III, Merenptah, and Amenhotep II, each adorned with rich inscriptions and vibrant wall art.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari:

Visit the awe-inspiring Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, a striking mortuary temple built into limestone cliffs to honor Egypt’s most powerful female pharaoh.

Queen Hatshepsut ruled for over 20 years during the 18th dynasty, and her temple remains a symbol of innovation and elegance.

Colossi of Memnon:

Conclude your tour at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive seated statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, originally guarding the entrance of his now-ruined mortuary temple. Standing 18 meters tall, these ancient sentinels have watched over Luxor’s landscape for more than 3,000 years.
