Day 2: Pyramids Day Tour

After breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, you will meet your private Egyptologist guide to begin exploring one of the most iconic wonders of the ancient world — the Pyramids of Giza, built over 4,500 years ago as eternal monuments to Egypt’s Old Kingdom.

Pyramids of Giza:

Stand before the legendary Great Pyramid of Khufu, once the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years. Marvel at the architectural genius of the ancient Egyptians, who built this colossal tomb with primitive tools yet unmatched precision. You will also admire the pyramids of Chephren and Mykerinus, each with its own historical significance.

The Great Sphinx:

This monumental statue, with the body of a lion and the head of a human, symbolizes strength and wisdom. Standing 73 meters long, it has inspired travelers, artists, and philosophers for centuries due to its mystery and religious significance.

The Valley Temple:

One of the best-preserved structures from ancient Egypt, the Valley Temple is where the fascinating mummification rituals took place. Built from granite and limestone, it houses remarkable diorite statues of King Chephren.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local oriental restaurant before continuing your historical journey to the treasures of Saqqara and Memphis.

Saqqara Step Pyramid:

Recognized as the world’s oldest large-scale stone structure, this pyramid was the prototype for all others that followed. Explore its unique design and venture inside to witness the remarkable architecture firsthand.

Memphis City:

Once the capital of ancient Egypt, Memphis was the seat of power for many dynasties and home to breathtaking monuments. Its historical significance and grandeur make it a must-see for anyone exploring Egypt’s past.

After completing your tour, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay, preparing for the next day of your 10 Days Cairo, Aswan, Luxor & Hurghada Tour Package.

Day 3: Trip to Abu Simbel

In the early morning, collect your breakfast boxes from the hotel, then meet your driver and expert Egyptologist guide to begin an unforgettable excursion to the legendary temples of Abu Simbel.

Abu Simbel Temples:

One of the most iconic landmarks in all of Egypt, these colossal temples were built by Pharaoh Ramses II and stand as a testament to his power, devotion to the gods, and deep affection for his beloved queen, Nefertari. The main temple is dedicated to Ramses himself and the gods Ra-Horakhty, Amun, and Ptah, while the smaller temple honors Nefertari and the goddess Hathor.

The site is world-famous for the extraordinary phenomenon of solar alignment, which occurs twice a year — on February 22nd (Ramses II’s birthday) and October 22nd (his coronation day) — when the morning sunlight illuminates the inner sanctuary of the temple, perfectly lighting the statues of the gods seated within.

After exploring this architectural masterpiece, you will be driven back to Aswan for an overnight stay at your hotel, preparing for the next chapter of your 10 Days Egypt Tour Package.

Day 4: Aswan day tour + train to Luxor

Your 10 Days Egypt Itinerary continues this morning with an exploration of the fascinating landmarks in Aswan. After breakfast at your hotel, meet your expert Egyptologist guide and begin your sightseeing adventure.

The High Dam:

A monumental achievement of modern engineering, this dam, built with UNESCO support, tamed the Nile’s annual flood for the first time in history. It also became Egypt’s primary source of electricity, transforming the country’s economy and agriculture.

The Unfinished Obelisk:

This massive structure, still attached to the bedrock, showcases the incredible skill and techniques of ancient Egyptian stone carving. If completed, it would have been the largest obelisk ever erected, a true testament to the ambitions of its builders.

Philae Temple:

Dedicated to the goddess Isis, this temple was the last built in the classic Egyptian style and is closely tied to the myth of Isis and Osiris. Colorful carvings depict scenes such as the birth of Horus and the resurrection of Osiris, making it a sacred pilgrimage site for both ancient Egyptians and Nubians.

After visiting these remarkable landmarks, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before boarding your first-class train to Luxor. Upon arrival, our driver will transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Karnak Temple:

This vast temple complex consists of three main temples dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, along with a sacred lake, colossal statues, and towering painted columns. Here you’ll also find the largest standing obelisk in the world, built as a gift to Amun by the legendary Queen Hatshepsut.

Luxor Temple:

Primarily dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship, this temple saw many coronations of ancient pharaohs. Its intricate design and open courtyards are particularly breathtaking at night when illuminated by colorful lights, creating a truly magical atmosphere.

After your tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor for an overnight stay.

Hatshepsut Temple:

Located beneath the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, this masterpiece was built in 1479 BC by Queen Hatshepsut herself. Known as “Holy of Holies,” the temple stands as a testament to her vision and is adorned with unique statues and carvings from her reign.

Colossi of Memnon:

These two monumental statues, each 18 meters tall and weighing 720 tons, have fascinated visitors for centuries. They are famous for their grandeur, ancient legends, and the mysterious sounds once emitted by the northern statue.
