Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, in Deir el-Bahari, is one of the most stunning ancient Egyptian structures. This marvelous temple was established during the 18th dynasty. The temple is dedicated to Amun-Ra and showcases a distinctive terraced style embraced seamlessly by the cliffs. Hatshepsut's reign was marked by peace and extensive building projects, and her temple stands as an example of her architectural innovation and the prosperity of her rule. Valley of the Kings:

Valley of the Kings, is a royal burial ground used primarily during the New Kingdom period. It houses over 60 tombs of pharaohs, nobles, and high priests, including the famous tomb of Tutankhamun. The tombs are richly ornamented with scenes from Egyptian mythology and provide invaluable glances into ancient Egyptian beliefs about the afterlife. Colossi of Memnon:

Colossi of Memnon are two large stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, on the west bank of the Nile near Luxor, Egypt. Reaching about 18 meters tall, they originally acted as the guardians of the entrance to Amenhotep III's mortuary temple, which is largely destroyed. The statues are made of quartzite sandstone and have seen remarkable weathering through time. Despite their ruined phase, the Colossi are still unique examples of ancient Egyptian monumental sculpture and are very well-known tourist monument.

Kom Ombo Temple:

Kom Ombo Temple, located in southern Egypt. This temple is distinctive for its dual dedication to the gods Sobek and Horus. Kom Ombo Temple was built during the Ptolemaic dynasty; the temple features a symmetrical style with two parallel sanctuaries. The temple is famous for its well-preserved carvings, and it also includes a museum with mummified crocodiles, representing its strong association with the crocodile god Sobek.

The site includes two temples: the largest one was dedicated to Ramses the Great and the smaller creation was dedicated to his queen, Nefertari. Abu Simbel Temple is famous for its colossal statues and complex ornamentations. The temple was transported in the 1960s to keep it from flooding due to the Aswan High Dam. The Philae Temple is an ancient Egyptian complex near Aswan, on Agilkia Island. Originally on Philae Island, the temple was transported due to the Aswan High Dam's construction, which was mainly dedicated to the goddess Isis, including impressive pylons, and courtyards. Philae Temple was erected during the Ptolemaic and Roman periods (3rd century BC to the 3rd century CE). This fascinating temple is still a remarkable cultural heritage site and popular tourist monument.

The Unfinished Obelisk:

The Unfinished Obelisk, in the Aswan stone quarries is an ancient Egyptian monument that was stopped due to sudden cracks in the granite. If finished, it would have been the largest obelisk ever carved, measuring about 42 meters and weighing approximately 1,200 tons. Dating back to the reign of Queen Hatshepsut in the New Kingdom. The obelisk offers valuable glances into ancient Egyptian stone-working methods and is a notable tourist destination today.

Aswan High Dam, located across the Nile River in Aswan was completed in 1970. The dam was constructed to control annual flooding, save increased water storage for irrigation, and generate hydroelectric power. The opening of the museum was a great event that came into existence in 2021 with a great procession for transporting the Mummies. The museum contains about 50,000 artifacts. The contents of the museum concentrate on the Civilization of Egypt throughout the ages, from the pre-historic times to the present day.

Amr Ibn Al Aas Mosque in Cairo is the oldest mosque in Africa. This massive mosque was originally founded in 641-642 AD by Amr Ibn Al-Aas, the general who led the Muslim conquest against Egypt. The mosque has been reconstructed and expanded many times which reflects various architectural styles over the centuries. Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque acts as an important historical and religious attraction representing the spread of Islam in Egypt.

The Hanging Church:

The Hanging Church, also known as Saint Virgin Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church, is one of the oldest and most famous Coptic churches in Cairo. The church is in the Coptic Cairo area and is called the "Hanging Church" because it was erected above the Babylon Fortress gatehouse, with its nave suspended over a passage. The church dates to the 3rd century AD and it has been exposed to numerous restorations and is famous for its beautiful wooden roof, marble pulpit, and complex items. The Hanging Church is still a remarkable religious and historical destination for Christians from all over the world.

Ben Ezra Synagogue:

The Ben Ezra Synagogue is considered as the oldest Synagogue in Egypt. The synagogue was named after Abraham Ibn Ezra and was the main center of worship for Jews. The most distinctive thing of it is containing the Geniza which is a storage room for books or documents in Hebrew language of religious topics related to cemetery burial.

Khan El-Khalili Bazaar:

Khan El-Khalili Bazaar is a Mamluk Souq which is rich in its variability of goods and merchandise. This souq was a main hup of international trade during the Mamluk Era. Qaitbay Citadel is the most significant defensive fortress on the coast of the Mediterranean. Mamluk Sultan Al-Ashraf Abu Al-Nasr Qaitbay founded it above the ruins of the old lighthouse of Alexandria in 1477 - 1479 AD. The main purpose of establishing this citadel was to protect the Alexandria City from the foreigner invaders, and its height reaches about 17 meters. The huge walls and halls of Qaitbay Citadel reflects the power and strength of Egypt during the Mamluk Era.

Kom El Shoqafa Catacombs:

The tombs of Kom El-Shoqafa are a significant historic and archaeological site in Alexandria that goes back to the 2nd century, in the Kom El-Shoqafa area. This site has a distinguished importance in Alexandria as it was one of the seven wonders of the world during the Middle Ages. Its height reaches about 100 feet. The Kom El-Shoqafa Catacombs is a must-visit destination that you will enjoy visiting very much.

Pompey's Pillar:

Pompey's Pillar is an ancient Roman pillar column in Alexandria. This pillar is one of the most astonishing attractions of Alexandria which was founded in 298-303 AD. The pillar was established above the Bab Sidra hill, between the current Muslim burial area. Its height reaches about 27 meters, and it was made of reddish granite which makes it so strong and favorable destination for all travelers.
