Day 1: Start your 14 Days Cairo, Nile Cruise & Red Sea

Salah El Din Citadel:
Saladin built the famed Salah El-Din castle, which stands on Cairo's highest point, in 1174 AD and lasted until 1848. It was the major headquarters for about 700 years, from the 13th to the 19th century.
Mohammed Ali Mosque:
The Mohamed Ali Mosque is located inside Salah El-Din's fortress, which was erected in 1848 AD and is an excellent example of Ottoman architecture and Islamic embellishments.

The Church of the Mother of God, Saint Virgin Mary, commonly known as the Hanging Church, is a magnificent Christian monument that rose to prominence in the 3rd century AD. Al Muizz Street:
The grand street of Al Muizz is a golden testament to excellence created during the Fatimid dynasty in the tenth century AD.

During the 2nd and 4th centuries AD, the Underground Roman Necropolis, or catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa mound of shards, was used as the burial site for a single family.

The magnificent Pompey's pillar is recognized as a stunning Roman triumphal column. The Roman emperor Diocletian cut it out of red granite and 28 meters long between 298 and 302 AD.

The Alexandria Library is a historical wonder that pays respect to one of the seven wonders of ancient civilizations. It opened to the public in 2002 and currently has 8 million volumes, some of which are extremely rare and beautiful specimens of art and culture.
Qaitbay Citadel:
One of the most stunning examples seen across the coasts of Alexandria is the heavenly Qaitbey citadel, erected from 1477 AD to 1479 AD during the Mamluk era to serve as a protective fortification and bulwark against several foreign incursions.
