“Fantastic experience in Cairo, Luxor and Hugarda with ETG!!

We went to Egypt in the middle of the ME chaos and almost cancelled before deciding to take the chance due to non-refundable airline tickets. We did a lot of diligence and compare/contrast of various Tour groups and decided to go with Egypt Tour Group. This was a best decision ever, do NOT attempt to tour Egypt without a tour guide, the place has a lot of rich history that you would be missing out without a guide. Fortunately we were assigned Mohammed Elshemei in Cairo and he is super knowledgable. He took us to all the major attractions and gave us all the historical aspects with insane precision. He even knew where all the local food joints were for lunch and they were all remarkable. At Luxor, ETG assigned us Ghada and Ramzey, they were pretty knowledgable as well. ETG also took care of all the logistics and pick up /drop off at multiple airports, hotels and activities. Overall great trip, thank you ETG.”

“Grateful for our Tour Guides

Our Egypt trip was amazing. The main reason for that was our wonderful tour guide and tour company. Egypt Tours Group was helpful before we even got to Egypt, always quick to respond and answer all of my questions. Then having a guide meet us in the airport made all the difference. He was there to help us navigate going through customs, saving us time and preventing confusion. Amir was our tour guide through seeing the pyramids and sphinx of Giza and through the Grand Egyptian Museum. He was an awesome and knowledgeable guide. He kept us away from the hasslers, answered all of our questions not only about the ancients parts of Egypt but also about the present day Egypt. He knew what activities would be the most worth it, like riding the camels to the pyramids. Amir went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time possible. We also got to see him again at the end of our trip and if felt like we were reconnecting with an old friend. Ahmed was our tour guide on the second part of our trip, cruising down the Nile River. He had a wealth of knowledge and explained the historical stories that went along with the sites we got to see. Ahmed also knew the best angles of each temple for pictures. He also made sure we always had water for the heat of the day. Ahmed was also helpful after we parted ways, I was able to text him any question we had in the transition to the next part of our trip. This trip was a once in a lifetime trip thanks for our guides, Amir and Ahmed. We wouldn’t have wanted to do it without them. We are so grateful to them and Egypt Tours Group for the best trip possible.”

“Amazing 6 day Egypt trip

We had an amazing experience thanks to Egypt Tours Group and cannot recommend them enough! We did a 6 day/5 night tour including Cairo/Giza, Abu Simbel, Luxor, and Alexandria. It is WELL worth the package cost — ETG designs a seamless experience with representatives ready and waiting from the moment you get off the flight to every stop. All of our hotels were lovely. All our guides were very welcoming and knowledgeable, and all our drivers were wonderful as well. Our Cairo guide Mohammed El Shemie provided the highest quality of tours and his obvious breadth of experience helped us get to sites and experiences when they were less crowded, making everything as smooth as possible! We also really enjoyed our Luxor guide Ghada Kamel (and as a woman, I appreciated having a female guide at least once!). As far as itinerary, we recommend if you include Abu Simbel (and you absolutely should) that you spend an extra day in Aswan to avoid what felt like a day of nonstop traveling and not much sleep with domestic flight delays.”
