The Great Sphinx:

Abu Simbel Temples:

The magnificent twin temples of Abu Simbel were carved into the cliffs of the Nile’s west bank between 1274 and 1244 BC. The larger temple features four colossal statues of Ramesses the Great alongside the gods Amun Ra, Ptah, and Ra-Horakhty.

The smaller temple was dedicated to Queen Nefertari and the goddess Hathor. The relocation and preservation of this complex remains one of UNESCO’s most impressive achievements.

The Mosque of Sultan Hassan is one of the most famous Islamic monuments in the world. It’s also considered one of the most symmetrical and architecturally refined buildings in Islamic Cairo.

Al Rifa'i Mosque:

Another Islamic treasure in the heart of Cairo is Al-Rifai Mosque. Commissioned in 1869 by Kushiar Hanem, the mother of Khedive Ismail, it was built as a royal mausoleum. Designed by architect Hussein Fahmy Pasha, the mosque houses the tombs of several members of Egypt’s royal family.
