Day 2: Full Day Sightseeing Trip in Giza
Your second day of the 12 Days Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan & Abu Simbel Tour begins with a scrumptious breakfast at your hotel, followed by pickup from your private driver and expert Egyptologist guide to explore the wonders of ancient Egypt:
Giza Pyramids Complex:
The legendary Giza Pyramids Complex is one of the most iconic archaeological sites in the world. Built by the pharaohs of the 4th Dynasty, these ancient structures have stood the test of time as lasting symbols of Egypt’s mighty civilization.
This world-renowned necropolis is home to the only remaining wonder of the ancient world—the Great Pyramid of Khufu, alongside the smaller pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and Menkaure (Mykerinus), as well as the magnificent Great Sphinx.
The Great Pyramid of Giza:
Commissioned by Pharaoh Khufu (Cheops) around 2570 BC, the Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure in the world for millennia, originally standing at 146 meters (now 138 m).
Its massive stone blocks, hidden chambers, and mysterious construction continue to intrigue archaeologists and travelers alike.
The Giza Sphinx:
Carved from a single limestone ridge, the Great Sphinx of Giza is a mythical guardian with the body of a lion and the head of Pharaoh Khafre. Built around 2558–2532 BC, it remains a symbol of strength, wisdom, and the enduring legacy of ancient Egypt.
The Valley Temple:
Located next to the Pyramid of Khafre, the Valley Temple served as a place of purification and mummification rituals for the pharaohs of the Old Kingdom. Its well-preserved granite blocks and architectural style make it a rare and significant example of ancient Egyptian mortuary temples.
Enjoy a tasty lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant, then continue your tour to explore more incredible highlights:
Saqqara Step Pyramid:
The Saqqara Step Pyramid, designed by the architect Imhotep, is the first pyramid ever built in Egypt. Constructed for Pharaoh Djoser (2670–2650 BC), this six-tiered structure laid the foundation for all later pyramids and remains a marvel of early engineering and innovation.
Memphis City:
Founded by Pharaoh Narmer in the 31st century BC, Memphis was the first capital of unified Egypt and a major political, religious, and cultural center. It was the city of God Ptah, the creator deity, and is now an open-air museum that includes colossal statues of Ramses the Great and other ancient artifacts.
After your tour, we will transfer you back to your Cairo hotel, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing evening and a peaceful night’s sleep.
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
Day 3: Fly to Tiptop Attractions in Aswan
Savor a delightful breakfast before checking out. You will then be driven to Cairo International Airport for your domestic flight to Aswan, where you will meet one of our local guides to visit:
The High Dam:
The Aswan High Dam is a massive and innovative project that was built between 1960 and 1970 during the reign of President Gamal Abdel Nasser.
The dam led to the creation of Lake Nasser, one of the largest artificial lakes in the world, and played a vital role in Egypt’s industrial age by becoming a primary source of energy and electricity.
The Unfinished Obelisk:
The magnificent Unfinished Obelisk reflects the grandeur of Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC). Originally intended to be erected at Karnak as a symbol of power and religious devotion, it would have been the largest obelisk ever constructed if not for a crack that appeared in the stone, which caused its abandonment.
After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, you will continue to visit:
Philae Temple:
The majestic Temple of Philae is one of the finest examples of ancient Egyptian architecture. Built during the Ptolemaic period (380–360 BC), this beautifully preserved monument tells the legendary story of Isis and Osiris through its stunning reliefs and inscriptions.
Finally, you will check into a 5-star hotel, where you will enjoy a relaxing overnight stay in Aswan.
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
Day 4: Explore Abu Simbel Temples by Car

This UNESCO World Heritage Site, completed in 1264 BC, has stood for centuries as one of the most magnificent temples in Upper Egypt.
We escort you back to Aswan for a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, then transport you to your hotel in Aswan for an overnight stay.
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
Day 5: Trip to Kom Ombo & Edfu – Drive to Luxor
Another early start to continue your 12 Days Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan & Abu Simbel, with breakfast served at the hotel before check-out. You’ll then join your guide in a private vehicle to visit:
Kom Ombo Temple:
The Temple of Kom Ombo is an extraordinary masterpiece of ancient architecture, built between 180 and 74 BC during the Hellenistic Era.
What makes this temple unique is its dual dedication to two prominent Egyptian gods: Sobek (the crocodile god) and Horus (the falcon god).
This divine pairing is reflected in the temple’s symmetrical design and its beautifully detailed carvings.
Continue your journey to visit:
Temple of Edfu:
The majestic Temple of Edfu is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, constructed between 237 and 57 BC along the banks of the Nile River.
Dedicated to the god Horus, it marks the legendary battleground between Horus and Set. Its walls are richly decorated with inscriptions and reliefs that highlight the vital role of mythology, religion, and language in ancient Egyptian civilization.
After the visit, continue driving to Luxor, where you’ll enjoy lunch at a scenic Nile-view restaurant. You’ll then check in to a superb 5-star hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.

The complex, dedicated to the Theban Triad—Amun-Ra, Mut, and Khonsu—was completed around 30 BC and stands as a testament to ancient Egypt’s spiritual and architectural brilliance.
After enjoying a delectable lunch at a deluxe restaurant, your journey continues with a visit to:
Luxor Temple:
The Temple of Luxor was a ceremonial center for religious festivals and the rejuvenation of kingship. Built around 1400 BC, this sacred monument saw contributions from great rulers like Amenhotep III, Tutankhamun, and Ramesses the Great. Its grand colonnades, statues, and inscriptions make it one of Egypt’s most iconic temples.
You will then return to your hotel in Luxor for a relaxing overnight stay.

Many tombs still contain vivid wall paintings and valuable artifacts, making it the largest royal burial site in the world.

Once again, start your morning with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, you’ll be escorted to discover some of Luxor’s top attractions, including:

Dating back to the New Kingdom period (1570–1050 BC), particularly the 18th and 19th Dynasties, this site contains more than 90 tombs for queens, royal wives, and female members of the ruling families.
Its most famous tomb is that of Queen Nefertari, the beloved wife of King Ramesses II, known for its vivid and well-preserved wall paintings.
Medinat Habu Temple:
The splendid Temple of Medinat Habu was built for King Ramesses III (1187–1156 BC) as his mortuary temple. It was dedicated to the cult of the deceased king and served as a center for worship, rituals, and commemoration.

Their homes, temples, and inscriptions have been remarkably preserved.
The Ramesseum Temple:
Located in the Theban Necropolis, the Ramesseum was the funerary temple of King Ramesses II (1279–1213 BC), one of Egypt’s most powerful and celebrated pharaohs.
Dedicated to the sun god Ra, the temple was both a place of worship and a political center. Its colossal statues, towering columns, and detailed reliefs mark it as one of the finest artistic achievements of ancient Egypt.

Abydos Temple:
The magnificent Temple of Abydos is one of the hidden gems of Upper Egypt, known as a major pilgrimage site for the god Osiris, the deity of death and resurrection.
