Philae Temple:
Philae Temple was constructed during the Greco-Roman Era, this marvelous temple is regarded as the second largest Temple after Karnak Temple, and it was originally erected on the Philae Island but it's now on the Agilika Island for preserving it from flooding of the High Dam. Philae Temple was dedicated to Isis, Osiris, and Horus. This massive temple was the major religious distination during this period in ancient Egypt.
The Unfinished Obelisk:
The Unfinished Obelisk in the high-quality granite quarries in South of Aswan was carved by Queen Hatshepsut. Queen Hatshepsut aimed for this obelisk to be stood in Karnak Temple as the largest obelisk ever carved, but her target hadn't been achieved because of the joints appeared along the obelisk during carving it. The obelisk was left in the quarries where it was being carved. This Unfinished Obelisk provides precious information about the techniques, methods, and ways of stone-cutting in ancient Egypt.
You will enjoy a delectable lunch at a Nile-view restaurant and you will then witness:
The High Dam:
The High Dam or Aswan High Dam is regarded as one of the most significant and massive projects in the 20th century. The dam was erected during the reign of President Gamal Abd El-Nasser by UNESCO's aid. The High Dam plays a very distinctive role in generating hydroelectricity to Egypt and saving the water of the Nile during the flood times. Establishing the High Dam helped in Creating Lake Nasser which is one of the most significant artificial lakes in the world.
