Day 1: Srart your 2 Days Cairo Short Break
You will be warmly greeted at Cairo Airport by your tour manager, who will assist you through the procedures of passport control and luggage.
You will then meet your personal tour guide who will drive you to begin our 2 Days Cairo Short Break to witness:
Giza Pyramids Complex:
The Giza Pyramids Complex on the outskirts of Cairo is a famous ancient Egyptian site housing three monumental pyramids established during the Fourth Dynasty. This complex features the Great Pyramid of Khufu, of Khafre, and Menkaure, along with many smaller pyramids and the Great Sphinx.
These pyramids acted as grand royal necropolises for pharaohs and is a symbol of the ancient Egyptians' advanced architectural skills and their religious thoughts about the afterlife.
The Great Pyramid of Khufu:
The Great Pyramid of Khufu, or Pyramid of Cheops, is the largest and most famous pyramid in Giza. This marvelous structure was established as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu and originally stood at 146.6 meters, though it now stands slightly shorter because of the loss of the outer casing stones.
Comprising approximately 2.3 million blocks of limestone, the pyramid was the highest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years and is still a symbol of ancient Egyptian engineering prowess and creativity.
The Great Sphinx:
The Great Sphinx on the Giza Plateau is a colossal limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, thought to represent Pharaoh Khafre. It measures 73 meters in length and 20 meters in height.
The Sphinx is one of the largest and oldest statues in the world. It is believed to guard the Giza Pyramids and has been a reason for mystery and fascination, with many legends and theories about its origins and purpose.
The Valley Temple:
The Valley Temple is part of the Pyramid of Khafre's complex near the Great Sphinx. This temple has been well-preserved by the desert sands for years, and it was used for the mummification process and other funerary rituals for the Pharaohs.
This temple was constructed from massive limestone and granite blocks. The temple's design includes a causeway leading to the pyramid, which was called the procession, and a series of halls and rooms. The temple is distinguished with its architectural sophistication and the discovery of statues of Khafre.
Your guide will escort you to a local restaurant in Cairo to enjoy lunch and you then move to explore:

Salah El Din Citadel:
Salah El Din Citadel, also known as the Citadel of Cairo, is a great Islamic stronghold that was built during the Middle Ages in Cairo. This citadel was built by Salah El-Din (Saladin) between 1176 and 1183 to protect the city from Crusader attacks and became the central seat of government and the residence of Egypt's rulers for centuries.
The citadel is known for its fascinating architecture, such as the Muhammad Ali Mosque, which commands Cairo's skyline. This citadel is a major historical site and tourist destination presenting panoramic views of the city and an insight into Egypt's rich history specially of the Middle Ages.
Mohammed Ali Mosque:
Mohammed Ali Mosque, or the Alabaster Mosque as it's also known, inside the Salah El-Din Citadel in Cairo was constructed between 1830 and 1848 by Muhammad Aly Pasha, who was the founder of modern Egypt.
The mosque is a distinctive example of Ottoman architecture with its massive dome, two high minarets, and extensive use of alabaste,r making it an impressive landmark.
The mosque acts as both a place of worship and a symbol of Muhammad Aly's effect on Egypt's modernization. This is a major tourist destination, giving stunning views of Cairo from its high position to visitors all over the world.
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization:
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is regarded as the first of its kind of museums not only in Egypt but also in the whole Middle East. NMEC provides a wide range of richness and splendor of Egyptian Civilization throughout the ages from prehistoric eras to the present day.
Proceed for an elegant lunch at a local restaurant.
Khan El Khalili Bazaar:
Khan El Khalili Bazaar was established during the Mamluk Era. There you can buy fascinating souvenirs for you and your family, you can also enjoy your time taking amazing photos with the beautiful backgrounds.
Try the traditional Egyptian food and drinks, and you can also try wearing the traditional clothes of the Mamluk era and take photos with them for memories.
Finally, your driver will escort you to Cairo International Airport to catch your flight home and end your 2 days Cairo short break.
