Meet your Egypt Tours Group representative at Cairo Airport for assistance with arrival procedures. Your representative will be holding a sign with the Egypt Tours Group name. Your driver then takes you by private air-conditioned vehicle to your Cairo hotel.
In the evening, join a Nile dinner cruise with folklore entertainment and views of Cairo’s riverside. Return to your hotel for your first night in Cairo.
After breakfast, meet your private guide for a day at Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Giza Pyramid Complex
Explore the plateau where the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure form the central monuments of the ancient royal cemetery.
The Great Pyramid of Khufu
See the Great Pyramid as part of your Giza visit. Built as King Khufu’s royal tomb, the Great Pyramid is the last surviving wonder of the ancient world. Entry inside its chambers is an optional extra, separate from the included plateau visit.
The Great Sphinx
Continue to the limestone monument with a lion’s body and a royal human head.
The Valley Temple
Visit the temple associated with Khafre’s pyramid complex before lunch at an Egyptian restaurant.
The Grand Egyptian Museum
After lunch, explore the museum’s ancient Egyptian collections with your guide. The museum houses the Tutankhamun collection alongside galleries exploring ancient Egyptian civilization. Return to your Cairo hotel for the night.
Have breakfast, check out and transfer to Cairo Airport for your included flight to Sharm El Sheikh. On arrival, your driver meets you for the transfer to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
Check in and settle into your Red Sea stay. This is the first of four nights in Sharm El Sheikh, with the meals and soft drinks listed below.
After breakfast, enjoy a free day in Sharm El Sheikh. You can spend time at the beach or pool, take a seaside walk, or explore the city and its market at your own pace. These are suggestions for your free time, not additional guided excursions included in the program.
After you return, lunch is served at a restaurant. Spend the evening and overnight at your Sharm El Sheikh hotel.
After breakfast at your hotel, head out for the snorkeling experience included in your itinerary. Explore the Red Sea’s coral and marine life around Sharm El Sheikh.
Confirm the activity’s age, swimming and participation requirements for each family member in advance.
Lunch follows at a restaurant. Return to your Sharm El Sheikh hotel for the night.
After breakfast, set out for your Sinai Desert safari. The program includes quad biking, desert scenery and Bedouin tea, followed by sunset and views of the night sky on the return to your hotel.
A camel ride and barbecue may be available; confirm availability and any extra charge before including them. Quad-bike participation also depends on the operator’s age and ability requirements.
Return to your Sharm El Sheikh hotel for your fourth night by the Red Sea.
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Sharm El Sheikh Airport for your included flight back to Cairo. On arrival, meet your private guide for the following visits in order.

Opened in 1902, the Egyptian Museum in central Cairo houses a rich collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities.
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization
Continue to NMEC and its Royal Mummies Hall. Its displays trace Egyptian civilization from prehistoric times to the present day. Have lunch at an Egyptian restaurant before exploring Old Cairo.
Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque
Visit this historic mosque in Old Cairo.
The Hanging Church
Continue to the Coptic church built above the old Roman fortress gateway.
Ben Ezra Synagogue
See another part of Old Cairo’s religious heritage at the synagogue.

Begin at the Mediterranean waterfront fortress on the site of Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse. Built in the 15th century, the citadel defended Alexandria against attacks from the sea.
Kom El-Shoqafa Catacombs
Explore the underground burial site, which combines Egyptian, Greek and Roman influences.
Pompey’s Pillar
Despite its name, Pompey’s Pillar was dedicated to Emperor Diocletian, not Pompey the Great. Continue to the Roman column, then stop for lunch at an Alexandrian restaurant.
Alexandria Library
After lunch, visit the modern library and cultural complex. Opened in 2002, the modern library revives the spirit of Alexandria’s ancient centre of learning. Return by road to Cairo for your final hotel night.

Cairo, Alexandria & Sharm Family Tour FAQs
The itinerary includes eight hotel nights: four in Cairo and four in Sharm El Sheikh. Cairo nights are split between the beginning and end of the trip; Alexandria is a day trip from Cairo.
The two domestic flights are Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh on Day 3 and Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo on Day 7. The program also includes airport transfers and the road journey from Cairo to Alexandria and back. Flight times and baggage terms must be confirmed with your travel arrangements.
Snorkeling is included on Day 5, but participation depends on age, swimming ability and the activity provider's requirements. Give your children's ages when requesting a quotation so suitability can be checked before booking.
The Giza camel ride and entry inside the Great Pyramid are optional activities charged separately. The Sinai safari also mentions a possible camel ride and barbecue; confirm availability and any extra cost rather than assuming they are included.
