The Giza Pyramids Complex on the outskirts of Cairo is a famous ancient Egyptian site. This complex, which dates back to the 4th dynasty, houses the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with many smaller pyramids and the Great Sphinx.
These pyramids served as grand royal tombs for pharaohs and are a testament to the ancient Egyptians' advanced architectural skills and their religious thoughts about the afterlife.
The Great Pyramid of Khufu:
The Pyramid of Cheops is the one of the biggest structures on earth. This marvelous wonder was established as a tomb for Pharaoh Cheops (Khufu) and originally stood at 146.6 meters, though it now stands slightly shorter because of the loss of the outer casing stones.
Comprising approximately 2.3 million blocks of limestone, the pyramid was the highest man-made monument in the world for many thousands of years.
The Great Sphinx:
The Great Sphinx on the Giza Plateau is a colossal limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, thought to represent Pharaoh Khafre. Measuring 73 meters in length and 20 meters in height.
It is believed to guard the Giza Pyramids and has been a reason for mystery and fascination, with many legends and theories about its origins and purpose.
The Valley Temple:
The Valley Temple is part of the Pyramid of Khafre's complex near the Great Sphinx. This temple has been well-preserved by the desert sands for years, and it was used for the mummification process and other funerary practices for Pharaoh Khafre.

The Ben Ezra Synagogue which is in Old Cairo is one of the oldest Jewish temples in Egypt. According to believes, the Synagogue was established on the site where baby Moses was found in the reeds.
The current structure dates to the 19th century as it was built above the ruins of earlier buildings. It is famous for the Geniza documents discovered in its storeroom, which provide unique insights into Jewish, Christian, and Muslim life in medieval Cairo.
Khan El Khalili Bazaar:
