Day 1: Arrival to Egypt – Enjoy Nile Dinner Cruise

Start your 8 Days Cairo, Aswan, Abu Simbel & Luxor Trip.

Egypt Tours Group representative will be present at Cairo International Airport on time to welcome you and assist you with the customs and luggage claim.

Then, we will drive you by a private A/C coach to our 5-star hotel in Cairo after you finish your airport business.

 

Next, we pick you up from your hotel in the evening to enjoy

Nile Dinner Cruise

A charming night break includes blissful tannoura spin, and dervishes shows with delicious Egyptian cuisine through a two-hour ride in the alluring Nile River onboard a colorful boat.

 

Then we drive you back to our hotel to spend the night in Cairo.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids and Saqqara – Fly to Aswan

Breakfast at the hotel and start the 2nd day of your 8 days Overland tour Cairo and Upper Egypt with a private guide by visiting:

Giza Pyramids Complex:

The Giza Pyramids Complex or Giza necropolis in Egypt includes the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus Pyramid, and also the Great Sphinx.

The sites construction dates back to the fourth dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Egypt. It also hosts a unique selection of temples, statues, objects and treasures of thousands of years.

 

The Great Pyramid of Giza:

The Great Pyramid, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, was constructed by Pharaoh Khufu.

This globally well-known achievement stood as the royal resting place of the pharaoh.

 

The Great Sphinx:

The Great Sphinx is an enormous statue in Giza. It was constructed of a single block of limestone by King Khafre who was the builder of the 2nd Pyramid.

The Sphinx was shaped as a lion with a human head to be the finest evidence of strength and wisdom of Khafre.

 

The Valley Temple:

The Valley Temple of Khafre is located in Giza near to the Nile and the famed Sphinx.

It was founded as the extraordinary funeral temple, which was used for ritual events and the pre-burial arrangements of the pharaohs and nobles to be ready for the afterlife.

Saqqara Step Pyramid:

Saqqara Step Pyramid or The Pyramid of Djoser, was the first pyramid built in Saqqara necropolis, Egypt.

It was built during the third dynasty to be a tomb for Pharaoh Djoser in the 27th century BC and it consists of six gradual huge steps.

 

Memphis City:

Memphis, or Men-nefer was the first capital in ancient Egypt and the center of Lower Egypt.

The site hosts the best glorious monuments of Ramesses II and many other treasures and priceless objects.

 

Next, we will transport you to Cairo Airport to catch the flight to Aswan and upon arriving in Aswan, our driver will take you in a private vehicle to our 5-star hotel. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 3: Aswan Highlights Trip

A delightful breakfast awaits you at the hotel then you escort your personal Egyptologist guide to start the Nile cruise trip in Aswan.

Philae Temple:

Philae Temple is considered a pearl decorates Agilkia Island on the River Nile, in the south of Egypt.

It was built in 360 BC to honor Isis, the ancient Egyptian goddess of love and magic.

The Philae Temple has a rich history as it was one of the last places of worship constructed in the classical Egyptian style.

 

The Unfinished Obelisk:

The Unfinished Obelisk was discovered in the early 20th century, after it has been completely covered with sand of desert for thousands of years.

It was built by Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC). However, some cracks appeared in the rocks, which led to the abandonment of the monument.

 

Aswan High Dam:

Aswan High Dam was completed in 1970-1971 under the leadership of President Gamal Abd El Nasser, and its construction costed nearly one billion dollars.

The main purpose of the dam was controlling the annual flood of water to preserve both water and agricultural lands to protect the surrounding monuments against the floods.

Day 4: Tour to Abu Simbel Temples

You enjoy your breakfast in the morning then your private tour guide will accompany you to explore:

Abu Simbel Temples:

The Great Temple of Abu Simbel is located in Nubia, in the south of Egypt.

It's considered one of the most stunning monuments of Egypt, it was constructed by Pharaoh Ramses II of the 19th dynasty in 1264 BC.

The temple is well known for the four huge seated statues of Ramses in the facade of it. This is a strong evidence on the greatness and power of the ancient Egyptians.

 

Afterwards, we drive you back to Aswan to have lunch at an Egyptian restaurant then we drop you off at our hotel in Aswan

Day 5: Train to Luxor – Luxor East Bank Highlights

Karnak Temple is considered one of history's most famous ancient religious temples and the best-known attraction in Luxor City. It's located on the East Bank of the Nile River.

The Temple was set up for some of the greatest Egyptian deities and gods, such as Ptah, Isis, Osiris, Montu, and Khonsu.

Luxor Temple at night:

Luxor Temple was founded in Luxor by several kings and pharaohs such as Amenhotep III, Ramses II, and Tutankhamun. It was the largest and most important religious site for worship in ancient Egypt.

Queen Hatshepsut Temple:

The mortuary temple of Hatshepsut is a temple constructed during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut of the 18th dynasty of ancient Egypt.

It's located opposite Luxor City, regarded as one of the most wonderful ancient architectural structures.

 

Valley of the Kings:

The Valley of the Kings or the Valley of the Gates of the Kings. It's a wadi located on the western bank of the Nile, opposite Thebes.

It's also located in the center of Thebes Necropolis. It's divided into The East Valley and The West Valley. It took over 500 years, from the 18th dynasty to the 20th dynasty under the new kingdom of ancient Egypt.

 

Next, your lunch will be served at a good quality restaurant.

Colossi of Memnon:

The Colossi of Memnon is considered one of the most stunning architectural structures of ancient Egypt, it indicates the intelligence and power of the ancient Egyptian architecture.

The two setting colossal statues decorating the site, are thought to be constructed for the Pharaoh Amenhotep III who ruled Egypt during the 18th dynasty.

Day 7: Fly to Cairo – Cairo sightseeing Trip

Breakfast at the hotel in Luxor, then you check out before we transport you to Luxor Airport to fly back to Cairo.

The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is considered the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East,

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization:

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is considered the first of its type not only in Egypt but also in the Arab world.

The Hanging Church:

The Hanging Church was given its name because of its location above the gatehouse of Babylon fortress which was the Roman fortress in Coptic Cairo.

It's considered one of the oldest churches in Egypt which returns to the third century. The Hanging Church is associated with the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria.

Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque:

Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque was named after the Arab Muslim Caliphate Amr Ibn Al-Aas.

The Mosque was constructed in 641-642, and located in the old Capital of Egypt, Fustat. It was originally the first mosque not only in Egypt but also in the whole of Africa.

 

Ben Ezra Synagogue:

The Ben Ezra Synagogue or El-Geniza Synagogue, or the Synagogue of the Levantines, is located in Fustat, the old Capital of Egypt. It's thought that it was built in the site where Baby Moses was found.

In the 19th century, there was a Geniza, or room store found in this Synagogue containing secret and mysterious manuscripts of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Arabic. These manuscripts were known as Cairo Geniza.

 

Khan El Khalili Bazaar:

Khan El Khalili is a famous Bazaar and Souq in the center of old Cairo, Egypt. During the Mamluk era, it was established to be a center of trade.

It's considered one of the most stunning and amazing attractions in Cairo for tourists, you can buy souvenirs for yourself and your beloved people in your country, and you can also take memorable photos.
