The powerful influence of the Fourth Dynasty on Egyptian civilization is embodied in the iconic Great Pyramid of Giza. This exquisite marvel was built as the royal tomb of Pharaoh Khufu (2609–2584 BC).

This colossal monument still stands as the only surviving wonder of the ancient world, with a height of 146 meters.

The Great Sphinx:

The Giza Sphinx is one of the most recognizable symbols of ancient Egyptian history, which portrayed a fabulous image to the brilliance and glory of Pharaoh Chephren (2558-2532 BC).

It’s the largest man-made monumental statue ever made in history, which represents for the powerful facial features of the pharaoh on a massive lion’s body.

The Valley Temple:

The Valley Temple, which belongs to the reign of King Chefren, is a majestic symbol of immortality. This enchanting site is the home to countless purification and mummification processes and funerary ceremonies during the 4th dynasty reign.

Saqqara Step Pyramid:

Saqqara Pyramid marked the beginning of the Pyramid Construction Age in Egypt. It was built between 2670–2650 BC to honor the brilliance of Pharaoh Djoser, who ruled during the Third Dynasty.

This unique pyramid, which houses the pharaoh’s mummy, was designed with six steps reaching toward the heavens, at a height of 63 meters.

Memphis City:

The epic city of Memphis represents the unification of Egypt, marking the first steps toward a 5,000-year-old civilization. This historic city, founded by Narmer, was the first capital of Egypt and a major center of religion and trade.

At the end of the day, we will transfer you to Cairo Airport for a domestic flight to Aswan, where our guide will take you to a 5-star hotel to enjoy a wonderful night’s sleep in Aswan.

Philae Temple:

The majestic Philae Temple was established during the reign of King Ptolemy II in 280 BC. This monument is a valuable piece of art, featuring the influential myth of Isis and Osiris. In 1960, the temple was dismantled and transported to the nearby island of Agilkia, where it was restored.

The Unfinished Obelisk:

The Unfinished Obelisk is a structure of extraordinary dimensions, rising toward the sky with impressive majesty. It dates back to the reign of Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC), who ruled Egypt during the 18th Dynasty. During its carving, a crack developed in the stone, making the monument unstable, and it was subsequently abandoned.

The High Dam:

Aswan High Dam is an enormous project that was constructed between 1960 and 1970 AD at the request of President Gamal Abdel Nasser.

The dam played a vital role in Egypt’s economy and agriculture, serving as the protector of Aswan’s monumental landmarks, the regulator of Nile water, and the main generator of electricity for the entire country.

Then, you will return to your hotel in Aswan to enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque is the first Islamic monument ever built in Africa, established in 642 AD in the heart of Egypt’s historic capital, Fustat.

Ben Ezra Synagogue:

Ben Ezra Synagogue is the oldest Jewish monument in Egypt and was once considered the main center for Jewish celebrations and prayers.

It was named after Abraham Ibn Ezra, a Jewish religious scholar and philosopher. It is believed to have been built on the very spot where Baby Moses was found.

The Hanging Church:

The Citadel of Qaitbay was built by Sultan Al-Ashraf Abu Al-Nasr Qaitbay in 1477 AD as a defensive fortress against the Ottomans. It stands on what is believed to be the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

The Pompey's Pillar:

Pompey’s Pillar is a massive Roman column built on the ruins of the original city of Rhakotis, the foundation upon which Alexandria was established. This tapered column stands 27 meters tall with a base measuring 2.7 meters.

The monument is made of high-quality reddish granite from Aswan and remains the only ancient monument in Alexandria still standing in its original location.

Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa:

The Kom El-Shoqafa tombs are believed to have originally belonged to a wealthy Roman family who began using them for burials around the 2nd century AD. The complex was later significantly expanded and remained in use until the 4th century AD.

Alexandria Library:

Alexandria Library, the cultural center of the Mediterranean coast, stands as a modern revival of the ancient Library of Alexandria. The original library was founded over 2,000 years ago by the successors of Alexander the Great. The idea to revive it began in 1974 through Alexandria University, and the new library was completed in 2002.

We will escort you back to your hotel in Cairo by private vehicle.
