The Temples of Karnak are among the largest archaeological structures on earth, beautifully showcasing the religious significance of ancient Egyptian civilization. Established between 1970 and 30 BC, the site spans over 245 acres and could easily take a full day to explore.
Afterward, we’ll transfer you to board one of our elegant 5-Star Nile cruise ships for lunch and relaxation. Later, you’ll reunite with your guide to explore:
Luxor Temple:
Luxor Temple holds immense historical significance, standing as one of the finest examples of ancient Egyptian architecture and artistry. Its walls vividly recount important historical events and religious rituals.

Queen Hatshepsut Temple:
Also known as “Deir El Bahari,” this divine and exceptional structure stands in the heart of Luxor to honor the legacy of Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC). This archaeological marvel, made up of three levels, is the finest representation of classical architecture.
The Valley of the Kings:
The Valley of the Kings is the gateway to 63 royal tombs of ancient Egyptian pharaohs. Dedicated to the New Kingdom era (1550–1070 BC), it is considered the largest and most renowned monumental burial site on earth. This wondrous complex displays the mummies and treasures of notable kings such as Seti I, Tutankhamun, Ramesses the Great, and many more.
The Colossi of Memnon:
The Colossi of Memnon is a golden piece of art and one of the best-preserved monuments in Luxor. These twin massive seated statues date back to the reign of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC), who ruled during the 18th Dynasty.

Day 8: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples – Sail to Aswan

Edfu Temple is one of the Nile’s monumental treasures, built between 237 and 57 BC to honor the god Horus. This mesmerizing temple, constructed during the Ptolemaic Kingdom, served as the center of the cult of a divine triad.
Return to the cruise ship for lunch and begin sailing to Kom Ombo:
Kom Ombo Temple:
Kom Ombo Temple was constructed during the Ptolemaic and Greco-Roman periods. Its unique double dedication made it a distinctive religious site. The temple’s walls and reliefs portray the worship of Sobek, the Crocodile God, and Horus, the Falcon-headed God.
Return to the river ship to continue sailing and enjoy a delightful dinner and a peaceful overnight stay onboard.

Day 9: Transfer to Abu Simbel Temples
After your aboard breakfast, you will be transported by a private minibus on an excursion to witness:

The Temple of Abu Simbel is a silent witness to an era of splendor and grandeur in ancient Egypt. The twin-structured temple is dedicated to the heritage of Pharaoh Ramesses II (1279-1213 BC) and his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari. The temple boasts the phenomenal Sun Festival on the 22nd February and 22nd October each year.
Next, your personal guide will drive you to your elegant Nile ship in Aswan, where you can enjoy lunch and dinner aboard. Overnight onboard.

Day 10: Witness Aswan Highlights - Back to Cairo

Aswan High Dam:
The spectacular Aswan High Dam was established as one of the largest projects of the 20th century. This monumental creation propelled Egypt into the industrial age in the 1960s by controlling the Nile floods, protecting the country, and generating electricity.
The Unfinished Obelisk:
The Unfinished Obelisk offers valuable insight into the construction techniques used by the ancient Egyptians. Measuring 42 meters in length and weighing over 100 tons, it is the largest man-made obelisk ever attempted, dating back to Queen Hatshepsut’s reign.
Philae Temple:
The mythical Philae Temple tells the inspiring story of the goddess Isis and her devotion to her husband Osiris. Originally built during the Ptolemaic period (380–362 BC), it was relocated to Agilika Island to protect it from flooding.
A delicious lunch will be served at a Nile-view restaurant in Aswan. Afterwards, you will head to the airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, our driver will transfer you in comfort to a 5-Star hotel for a peaceful overnight stay in Cairo.

The NMEC is a living miracle situated in the ancient city of Fustat. This incredible museum offers a golden opportunity for visitors to witness the largest collection of ancient Egyptian ruins, jewelry, and mummies ever assembled — covering different eras of Egyptian history.
After such an awesome beginning to your day, you will move to a fine restaurant to enjoy a wonderful lunch. Next, you will be guided to visit:
The Hanging Church:
The Hanging Church is one of the best-known Christian monuments in Egypt. It is located atop the gates of the Fortress of Babylon and is called “Hanging” due to its elevated position. The church was established in the 3rd century AD and is known for its unique artworks and beautiful architectural design.
Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque:
The oldest mosque in Africa is the Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque, founded between 641 AD and 642 AD in the Egyptian capital of Fustat. This extraordinary mosque showcases brilliant Islamic architecture developed across different Islamic eras.
Ben Ezra Synagogue:
Ben Ezra Synagogue is an exquisite Jewish monument in Cairo, believed to be built on the site where baby Moses was found. The synagogue preserves a unique heritage of Hebrew and Aramaic texts. Originally built as a church, it was converted into a synagogue in 882 AD and houses remarkable treasures of Jewish history.
Khan El Khalili Bazaar:
Khan El Khalili is an ancient Mamluk-era bazaar, founded between 1382 and 1389 AD. It's an ideal place for a memorable shopping experience — offering clothes, perfumes, papyrus, spices, and more. Even if you're not shopping, it's a must-see for strolling, mingling with locals, and enjoying a cup of coffee.
Once concluded, you will return to your Cairo hotel to spend a joyful night’s stay.
