Day 1: Arrival & Start 12 Days Egypt Itinerary

Your 12 Days Cairo, Nile Cruise, Abu Simbel and Hurghada Tour Package kicks off at Cairo International Airport where you will be met and friendly welcomed by Egypt Tours Group representative, who is assigned to ensure that all your formalities including Visa and luggage process are operated smoothly. Afterwards, our driver will transport you to our super 5-Star hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle for check in.

Next, your tour manager will escort you in the evening to enjoy

Sound and Light Show in Giza:

A stunning visual event that is always held at the glorious Giza Complex is the Sound and Light Show. This light show presents the history of Giza Pyramids; how they were built, by whom as well as a wide array of mysteries related to the ancient Egyptian civilization while the whole spot is illuminated in a divine atmosphere.

Day 2: Giza Monuments and Saqqara Tour – Fly to Hurghada

Giza Pyramids Complex:

The Giza Pyramids Complex is your gateway to the quest of ancient Egyptian civilization, where the pharaohs established their everlasting heritage including; the three pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, the glorious Sphinx and many more treasures.

The Great Pyramid of Giza:

The Great Pyramid, dedicated to Pharaoh Cheops (2609-2584 BC), is a colossal structure made of brilliance and wonder that stood at the highest point on earth for 3800 years and became the pharaoh's royal grave site. This enigmatic monument reaches 138 meters in height and is the sole remaining icon of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

The Sphinx:

The Great Sphinx is one of the greatest monumental statues in history, carved by the order of King Khafre (2558-2532 BC) to represent the pharaoh’s power and brilliance. This incredible creature was made of a massive limestone block to glorify the accomplishments of the pharaoh by carving his face on a colossal lion.

The Valley Temple:

The Valley temple is the gateway to the ancient Egyptian beliefs related to the afterlife world, which is devoted to Pharaoh Chephren. This majestic site is one of the best-preserved member of the Giza Plateau treasures, which was used to mummify the dead pharaohs of the 4th dynasty and to prepare their bodies to life after death.

After that, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at an excellent quality restaurant and head out to see:

Saqqara Step Pyramid:

Six-step monument rises into the heaven is the Stepped Pyramid of Saqqara, which belongs to Pharaoh Djoser (2670-2650 BC). This treasure, which was designed by the brilliant architect, Imhotep, gained its significance as being the first creation of its kind in history and it became them as the final resting place for Djoser.

The Ancient City of Memphis:

Memphis City was the oldest Egyptian capital city in history, which was the finest witness on the unification of the country by the efforts of King Narmer (3100-3200 BC). The god Ptah, who was the patron god of art, protected this historical city, which became the worship center of Ptah.

After a thorough day of sights, you will be taken to the airport to catch your domestic flight to Hurghada. You will then be driven to a 5-star hotel to check in and spend a leisurely night in Hurghada.

Day 5: Quad Biking in Hurghada Desert

Prepare yourself for a mesmerizing journey in Hurghada when we transport you from your Hurghada hotel to the quad station to start a magical Quad Biking Safari through the fabulous desert of Hurghada. The excursion, which is operated by a professional desert guide, takes you deep in the desert, where you will see the stunning sand dunes until you reach the Bedouin to enjoy a delectable barbeque dinner while you are watching the mighty sunset views. Finally, you will get back to your hotel in Hurghada.

Day 6: Cruise Embarkation – Karnak & Luxor Temples

Temples of Karnak are one of the largest archaeological structures on earth, which elegantly depict the religious aspect of the ancient Egyptian Civilization. This vast religious temple, which established between 1970 and 30 BC, covers more than 245 acres so it’s known that the site needs almost a full day to be explored.

We transport you to board one of our elegant 5-Star river cruise liners to have lunch and relax. Afterwards, you will meet your guide to discover:

Luxor Temple:

Luxor Temple is of significant historical importance, as it represents one of the best examples of ancient Egyptian architecture and art. The walls of this fascinating marvel have been used to record important historical events and religious ceremonies.

Day 7: Experience Luxor’s Essential Sites

On day 7 of Hurghada, Cairo and Nile Cruise, you’ll enjoy a good sort of breakfast and you will then continue your sightseeing tour in Luxor by visiting:

Queen Hatshepsut Temple:

Or as it’s known “Deir El Bahari” is a divine exceptional miracle that stands in the heart of Luxor to glorify the ruins of Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC). This archeological marvel, which made of three floors, are the finest representation of the classical architecture.

The Valley of the Kings:

Valley of the Kings is the gateway to 63 royal tombs of the ancient Egyptian pharaohs. The site is dedicated to the New Kingdom reign (1550-1070 BC) and it acted as the largest and best-known monumental burial site on earth. This wondrous complex display the mummies and treasures of the most prominent kings such as Seti I, Tutankhamun, Ramesses the Great and many more.

The Colossi of Memnon:

The Colossi Memnon is a golden piece of art and one of the best-preserved monuments in Luxor. This twin massive seated statues date back to the reign of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1391-1353 BC) who ruled the country during the 18th dynasty.

After your tour, you will get back to the ship, where you will enjoy lunch and dinner meals during the sailing time and another joyful night’s sleep on the Nile.

Day 8: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples – Sail to Aswan

Breakfast aboard the ship and your local guide takes you in a horse carriage to visit:

Temple of Edfu:

Edfu Temple is one of the Nile monumental treasures which came into existence between 237 and 57 BC to immortalize the god Horus. This mesmerizing temple was constructed during the Ptolemaic Kingdom and it was the center of the cult of a triad of deities.

Proceed to the cruise ship to have lunch and start cruising to Kom Ombo:

Kom Ombo Temple:

Kom Ombo was built during the Ptolemaic dynasty and the Greco-Roman kingdom. The double dedication of this wonder made it a unique religious site, whose walls and decorations portrays the worship of Sobek, the Crocodile God and Horus, the Falcon-headed god.

Return to the river ship to continue sailing and enjoy a lovely dinner and a peaceful night’s stay aboard.

Day 9: Transfer to Abu Simbel Temples

After your aboard breakfast, you will be transported by a private minibus on an excursion to witness:

Abu Simbel Temples:

The Temple of Abu Simbel is a silent witness to an era of splendor and grandeur in ancient Egypt. The twin-structured temple is dedicated to the heritage of Pharaoh Ramesses II (1279-1213 BC) and his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari. The temple boasts the phenomenal Sun Festival on the 22nd February and 22nd October each year.

Next, your personal guide will drive you to your elegant Nile ship in Aswan, where you can enjoy lunch and dinner aboard. Overnight onboard.

Day 10: Witness Aswan Highlights - Back to Cairo

In the morning, have your breakfast in the hotel and check out, then one of our guides will take you to start your tour by visiting:

Aswan High Dam

The spectacular Aswan High Dam was established to become one of the largest projects in the 20th century. This epic creation led Egypt to the industrial age in the 60s by controlling over the Nile floods, protecting the country and producing electricity.

The Unfinished Obelisk:

The Unfinished Obelisk offers a precious testimony to the construction techniques used by the ancient Egyptians. This exquisite monument, which measures 42 meters tall and more than 100 tons in weight, is the largest man-made obelisk ever established during Queen Hatshepsut reign.

Philae Temple:

The mythical Philae Temple displays the most inspiring story ever known about the sacrifice of Goddess Isis to her husband Osiris. It was transported to the island of Agilika and came into existence during the Ptolemaic period between 380-362 BC.

A tasty lunch is served at a Nile-view restaurant in Aswan before you will head out to the airport to fly back to Cairo. Once there, our driver will take you in style to our 5-Star hotel to spend a peaceful night’s stay in Cairo.

Day 11: Tour to the Best of Cairo

In the morning, have your breakfast in the hotel, then your private guide will accompany you to start your day by visiting:

The Egyptian Museum:

The Egyptian Museum is located in Tahrir Square by the Cairo downtown, which is one of the largest monumental exhibitions on earth. The museum boasts more than 120,000 genuine artifacts, relics and sarcophagus including the golden collection of Pharaoh Tutankhamun.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization:

The NMEC is a living miracle is situated in the ancient city of Fustat. This incredible museum provides a golden opportunity for its visitors to witness the largest collection of ancient Egyptian ruins, jewelry, mummies ever made on earth from different ages of the Egyptian history.

After such an awesome beginning to your day, you will then move to a fine restaurant to enjoy a wonderful lunch. Next, you will be guided to visit:

The Hanging Church:

Hanging Church is the best-known Christian monuments in history, which is located a top the gates of the Fortress of Babylon so it’s named “Hanging” due to its current location. The church was established during the 3rd century AD and it’s known for a unique selection of artworks and its beautiful architectural designs.

Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque:

The oldest mosque had been created in Africa is Amr Ibn Alaas Mosque, which was founded between 641 AD and 642 AD in the capital of Egypt Fustat. This extraordinary mosque exhibits a pure image of the brilliant Islamic architecture during the different Islamic reigns.

Ben Ezra Synagogue:

Ben Ezra synagogue is an exquisite Jewish monument in Cairo, which is established in the same place where baby Moses was found. The synagogue displays a unique heritage of abandoned Hebrew and Aramaic. The site was mainly built as a church then it became a majestic Jewish synagogue in 882 AD, presenting the finest treasures of Jewish objects.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar:

Khan El Khalili is an ancient Mamluk bazaar which came into existence between 1382 and 1389 AD. The site is a good chance for a memorable shopping experience to purchase clothes, perfumes, papyrus, species.. etc. Even if you would not prefer to do shopping, the site is still a must-see highlight to stroll down, follow the locals and to sit a while for some coffee.

Once concluded, you will get back to your Cairo hotel to spend a joyful night’s stay.
